Switch Witch

I had never heard of this concept before — until someone brought it to my attention that her 5-​year-​old son was excited this Halloween to see what Switch-​Witch had for him. The concept of ‘switching out’ Halloween candy for a video game or a skateboard, tickets to the latest movie, or even a favorite children’s book would have been most welcome!
However, my sons are past the age of Switch-​Witch. But my inquiring mind had to know! So, I decided that the best way to learn more about this neat concept was to do some research and I ordered one online. (I have plenty of friends to give Switch-​Witch as a gift so it was money well spent.
She arrived and I was pleasantly surprised at how adorable she was. The quality of the Switch-​Witch doll was none like I had ever seen and the story-​book that came with her was a fun read. She even comes with a cauldron that the children can gather their Halloween candy and leave it there for Switch Witch to «switch» out for something better.
Very cute gift idea and one I thought worth a share since Halloween is just around the corner. Check her out — especially if you have young children. (I know I would have saved a few cavities and a few pounds in my days if I had known about her!)
