Place sucks. You walk in to an impolite ignorant woman who refuses to give a young adult a massage. Should be ashamed as you will be out of business soon anyways.

I was on my way back after lunch at Legal Seafoods and walked by this store. The massage therapist was sitting by the doorway and the large signs stating foot massage/reflexology seemed inviting so I went in. The first step in the treatment was a soaking in scalding hot water. It was really too hot to put my feet in and I wondered if they use a thermometer to check first. I’ve had reflexology before and the bone crunching massage I received was not really reflexology. I requested a softer touch but that seemed to be ignored or forgotten as she went to the other foot for more bone crunching. It was so painful that I spent quite a bit of time wincing and was nowhere near relaxed at all. As I was leaving the store, the massage therapist asked me several times for a tip, which I begrudgingly gave. I do want to end this review on a more positive note though. The business was staffed and presumably owned by the Chinese speaking massage therapist, and I have the highest admiration for non-Americans who come here to seek a better life for themselves, and open businesses that are really quite labor intensive. I imagine that, as a professional here in the USA, if I had to go abroad to a non-English speaking country and start over again, and had to perform foot massage, I’m not sure I would do very well. I’m guessing this business would improve if the massage therapist had better English speaking skills. Also, I fault myself for not making an effort to notice if this was a licensed massage therapist business — apparently not all massage is equal.
