I have been going to Golden Shears II for haircuts since I redeemed a gift certificate in college. I had perviously gone to the discount places (Fantastic Sams, Great Cuts, etc.) because I figured all hair salons were the same.
When I got my first cut and style from Rose, however, I found that the price difference was definitely worth it. Rose is a friendly, smart stylist who really goes above and beyond in her work. She knows me well, and I’ve since gotten my mom to use her. I tend to only get my hair cut 1 – 2 times a year, so I give Rose an extra big tip each time I go!
The salon itself used to be pretty dingy and outdated, but they’ve since remodeled and the place looks great!

I’ve literally be going here for 13 years. Everyone is very nice and my hair comes out great!
Manny is my goto barber! Every male in my immediate family has been going to him for years — including my 2 year old cousin who loves Manny.
Every once-​in-​awhile Manny is booked and I have had to get my hair cut by another barber and they have also always been fantastic. Great people! Great shop!
