Ginger’s Closet

The owner is super nice and has a dog named Caesar that is often at the store with her, who is adorable! She has really nice stuff and was having a deal when I went where if you paid with cash, you’d get 20% off.

Well, I can say I have been in a couple of times to try and sell some clothes. Clothes thrown on the floor and then said sorry. I know I’ll never try that again. Seems they only want the high end stuff. I know I will not be gong back and do not recommend going here.
Well I guess leather and suede pants do go out of style. Glad to see I’m not he only one that has had such experiences here.

Love this store. Have been once and will definitely go back. Customer service is excellent. Very helpful and you do not feel pressured to buy anything or stared at while you are browsing. Went in on a saturday, I believe. The woman at the counter even offered to reduce the price of some belts my mother was purchasing. She was super friendly and also had a sense of humor which made me feel comfortable. I generally have anxiety going into little shops, not here. The jewlery is super cute, can find some really unique things here.

Found a pair of expense pants and great cost & luv them. The store is nicely decorated for the month. Breast Cancer all pink in the window. Wish there were other companies that did the same. Great job.

I never signed a contract when I consigned here nor was I told of the policies. Therefore, policies can be changed at any time without notice. Yes this is all hearsay i dont have proof of what the owner told me in person.

I’ve been consigning and shopping at Ginger’s Closet for a few years now. Transactions are extremely easy and Heather is super flexible about looking at clothes — even when the store is busy — as Saturday is the only say I can make it in. She takes only gently used current designer items. They are re-​sold for extremely reasonable prices and she is beyond nice about not accepting something but still appreciating that you brought it in. She gives you the tags of anything of yours that sells so you get an idea of what people in that area want — when you bring back more items. The last time I was there I must have unloaded about 25 almost new or never worn items. I took home some Michael Kors, Levi Strauss, and Coach items for myself — all under $ 50 total. I think it’s so pathetic and tacky that Unilocal HIDES good reviews for this store. What is the point of small businesses being listed on here? Go to Ginger’s — you’ll be AMAZED at what you’ll find. All sizes — no men’s stuff.

Ginger’s Closet is a fantastic find in Peabody, MA. The quality of clothes they sell there is excellent and the prices are unbeatable! They also carry a regular selection of brand names shoes and handbags. Names such as Coach, Ann Taylor, Liz Claiborne, Talbots, etc. I not only consign at Ginger’s Closet but I am a frequent shopper there as well. I would definitely recommend it!!!
