So far the service has been horrible. Sat at the bar for faster service… The barmaid asked if I wanted a dinner menu. I said yes and five minutes later she gave it to me. Then she left before taking my drink order. I gave her my entire dinner order and then went to wash up. Expecting my drink when I got back… No such luck. The Ceaser salad arrived and it was boring… Just iceberg lettuce… After that everything was much better… The steak and sides were perfect and the service did improve.

Food tastes good but portions are small and had to keep asking for stuff like bread and refills shredded cheese for dishes, and waitress was never around. Over priced for portion size

Great experience! Large party, seated on time and all our meals were correct and cooked perfectly. The staff couldn’t have been nicer from the front podium to our waiter to the manager. Everyone made sure we had an excellent time and we were very well taken care of. Highly recommend /it was awesome!

Excellent service, excellent food and very reasonably priced. Sausage Lentil soup is the best and the mezzaluna dish was awesome. Been coming for years and never ever was I disappointed. No way this place should be rated less than 3 stars.

I’m not much of a chain restaurant person but we were on vacation, starving and this is where the kids wanted to go. We got there late for dinner and it was pretty empty. The waitress was very nice and brought my wine quickly. We had Arancini(little rice balls) and shrimp diavolo, both passable. Then salad w balsamic vinaigrette which was good. My dinner was prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin and grilled asparagus. The pork was better then I expected it to be but the asparagus was barely cooked. All in all a pretty good meal. My kids thought it was all great!

Came here to try something new and an Italian Restaurant that we don’t have back home(So. Cal., suburb of Los Angeles area. Joe our waiter was very helpful and answered all our questions. Food was great, my wife had Chicken Bryan-Chicken with goat cheese, dried tomatoes and broccoli. We celebrated my mother in laws birthday and Joe surprised her with tiramisu and a candle. The restaurant is very clean and the food is made to order so you know everything is fresh.

I would not recommend this place to anyone as the staff is exceedingly unprofessional. Came in to dine today and was told it would be a 10 – 20 minute wait. Unfortunately, 3 other groups who came in after us were seated before us. We got up and left after about 45 minutes after voicing our concern to the host. After mentioning this, we were told we could be immediately seated. It was disappointing to learn that they had open seats, yet refused to seat us.

I have lived in the area for more than 10 years and have seen this place, but never saw a lot of cars in the lot. To me, that is usually a sign that the restaurant is not doing well. So, when this place was suggested to me as a dinner spot last night, I was a bit hesitant. But I am always about giving a new dining experience a fair chance. Boy, am i glad that I did. Carrabba’s Italian Grille in Lynnfield has it all: Great people, great food, and reasonable prices. The fire roasted tomato soup that I had as an appetizer was so good that it made me desire a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches, so that I could dip them in. The meal itself, which was a chicken and pasta dish, was fantastic. I was hungry, not having really eaten all day, and this plate was a great size to fill me up just right. Plenty of pasta and spices, the right amount of peppers and gravy, and more than enough chicken to satisfy. Top that off with bread and oil appetizers, a side salad, and a down to Earth server [I believe his name was Joe] and you have a recipe for a wonderful night out. If there are any downsides to the experience, then there were 2: 1. The side salads were fine, but needed a little more«ooomph.» The Parmesan cheese dressing was amazing, but not enough. An Italian restaurant needs to be the master of the spices to enlighten the taste buds. 2. There were not a lot of people there. Maybe it is the location or that other restaurants are popping up all over, but I like being around people… all kinds of people, and you could hear a pin drop there last night. Other than these two little things, my overall experience was fantastic, and I made note to my friends that we would definitely have to revisit this place again soon… as should you!

The only thing good about this place was that there wasn’t a wait to be seated but now I know why. We get seated and waitress said she would dig bread 3 times — we got our appetizer before the bread. Then all is ok– Has our drinks which were ok. My son asked for lemons for the water and waitress comes back with lemonade. My daughter asked for another piña colada and waitress comes towards the end with it. My husband ordered the carrabas fettuccini and it was so watery. last I knew fettuccini was supposed to be a thinker white sauce. My daughter ordered the same thing but without mushroom and she complained about it not having any flavor. Who knew mushrooms gave flavor –Bad food. I ordered the shrimp and scallops in vodka and it was not good. First they had baby scallops and nasty waters down shrimp as if previously frozen. The scallops didn’t taste good at all. This place is off my list!!! First and last time going!!!

Just left right now and I am very full and content. For appetizers we got mozzarella sticks which were the right amount of elasticity in the cheese. For my entrée I got the sirloin Marsala with garlic mashed and the steak came out perfectly cooked! I always order medium rare and a lot of places would botch it and leave me disappointed. For dessert I ordered the mini cannoli. Yup. My tummy thanks you Carrabbas!

This review is a culmination of about 5 or 6 different experiences — dine in, eat/drink at bar, curbside — over the past 5 or 6 months at the Peabody location. The service at this location is generally horrible. Kids pretending to be employees(not professional waitstaff) litter this place. The bartenders are glorified waitstaff who are more attuned to their smartphones than the customer. You have to ask for bread — you have to ask for cheese for your soup. You have to send food back because it’s cold(twice in the same evening). The curbside take-out seems to always get something wrong. Supposedly all take out orders are inspected/reviewed by a manager. Ha-ha that might say more about the managers. All in all, I really like carrabbas food and the ones down south(especially in Florida for some reason) are excellent. This one is horrible. And the one in Bedford is not much better. It might be telling that the Regional Operations Manager for Carrabbas left in December 2014. Drive 100 more feet up the road to the Bertucci’s — much better experience there.

Pssssst babe, I forgot to review our new favorite restaurant. Came here with the boy on a fine evening after we both worked. The boyfriend was dying to try this place out and so we went. Got seated immediately where seemed like lots of twists and turns but more simpler than I thought when we left. Started with the risotto balls, it was good. Not to mention that it came out super quick. The loaf of bread was really good, maybe just the fact that it was warm. That and the olive oil. Each entrée came with either a soup or salad so we both got the chicken soup. Saw good things about it and so we got it and it was really good. With another handful of pepper in there, it was perfect for me. My date got a shrimp and scallop linguine which he said was okay. I got the grilled chicken with green beans on the side. Food was decent. Friendly service. Mayhaps return.

Scooted in at like 630pm ish for a dinner here. Mostly ate here because of a joke with the girlfriend. We had overall a good time here. We were seated immediately and welcomed to the restaurant and told it’s an everything from scratch kitchen. Started with the risotto balls which were nice, kinda run of the mill fried balls really with a marinara ramekin that wasn’t conducive to dipping. The chicken soup was really good. Had a nice smattering of pepper that complimented it nicely. I’d come back just for the chicken soup. Entrée for me was the linguine, shrimp, and scallop. The sauce was a little lacking in amount, but it was still good nonetheless. Extremely temperature hot when it was placed down. Instantly singed my mouth because I have no self control. My date got a chicken dish. Which was huge! I commented it looked like a heart displayed on the plate. It was tender and juicy. I was a bit jealous.

Waited here on 3÷14÷15. I won’t say dined, because we walked out after waiting almost twice the quoted wait and being passed over for people who had just walked in. I used the«click through seating» on the website at 5:55PM which says check in with the hostess and«you may have a short wait while we prepare your table». The quoted wait to people just giving their name(and there were some, I heard them) was supposedly 35 – 40 minutes. I arrived at 6:30 to the restaurant. At 7:00PM I asked the hostess how much longer and she said there was one more party, and then my party of 3. She said if I wanted I could sit at the pizza/pasta bar, but I said no, I had waited this long and if there was only one more I would wait. The hostess then proceeded to seat 5 – 6 more parties while looking right at me, including people who had just walked in the door and definitely people who had not been there as long as we had. The lobby and bar were barely crowded when I arrived. When I inquired, she said she had to seat a larger party at the larger table(which makes sense) and that the other parties had special requests for a certain server or section so they were seated ahead of us since their special request became available(which does not). I asked why if I did click through at 5:55 everyone that was there before me plus people who arrived well after I did was seated before me(it now being around 7:30, and well beyond the 35 – 40 minute wait time) what exactly was the point of the click through seating, and she said that everyone ahead of me was also on the priority list(a lie, since I heard some give their name and be quoted a time of 35 – 40 minutes). And that some other parties after me had special requests that became available so they were seated first. And the hostess was quite rude about it too. I have never made a special request at a restaurant and been moved ahead of people waiting longer. Terrible policy Carrabbas. Never again.

This place was good about a year ago! It has gone so far down the hill it is not even funny(maybe that is why there are coupons and all tv promotions going on) and now this place opens for lunch!!! We used too go in at least 2x a month and food and service was great, now we went in a few time ok one time was horrible so we said lets give it another shot and is was even worse! The staff is all gone they have a bunch of people that don’t have a clue on what they are doing, can’t seem to keep help! we waited forever and a day for refills the food came out wrong OMG this place I can go on and on! Only a matter of time I think before the doors close ! Save your money and go to a real Italian restaurant(North End) that can make good Italian food ;-) Not this chain!!! BTW if I could not given no stars I would have!

Good food… Great service! I forgot the name of what I ordered, but I uploaded the photo. Sent back the sausage soup, but everything else was fabulous. Our favorite thing was the flatbread appetizer… yummy! We visited as it was attached to the hotel where we were staying. Overall, a good experience.

The food is great! My favorite is Chicken Bryan. However feeling a little scammed over the Rodney Strong wine. We were told it was half-price at $ 20 per bottle, so we bought what we thought was a $ 40 bottle of wine. Tonight I found the exact brand in a liquor store for $ 16.99. We even tipped our server more than 20%. I guess they saw us coming!

Worst meal I have received in a long time! Don’t waste your time or your money! The food was terrible and very salty. Two of my friends got the scallop and shrimp dish and it was not edible. I got the Chicken Marsala which was equally bad and very salty. Very disappointed and will never return to this restaurant!

I used to come here regularly years ago, as I used to live down the street. This was the best Italian spot without going to the North End. I went here the other night and it’s quite different now, I was a little disappointed. The house sauce is no longer a simple garlicky red sauce, it’s far from a sauce actually. The Caesar sad no longer comes with croutons, which they had the BEST croutons years ago, and the lettuce was brown. I used to rate them 5 stars, such a shame.

This restaurant reminded me why I avoid chain restaurants. We were starving on the way back from the airport and decided to give it a go. Despite the restaurant being dead(it was late on a Tuesday night), the service was VERY slow. Our waitress was nice but MIA most of the time and our basic salads took forever to come out because the kitchen staff was more concerned with laughing, talking and making jokes than cooking. We also had to ask the bus boy for more iced tea because we couldn’t find our waitress. The food was just ok. I had the mahi which was good, but the Cavatapi that came with it was WAY too salty. My husband had the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes, which he said was decent. Won’t be going back anytime soon if I can help it.
