I went to an event hosted here recently and was very happy with the food. It tasted delicious, whole, and like real Cape Verdean food, the way my Mom makes. Definitely recommend this place.

What a great find. Nice friendly people, the music & food was good. I ordered the cachupa(to go) but stayed until close due to the fun I was having. You’ll enjoy the music even more if you can dance cape Verdean style otherwise don’t even try an get on the dance floor :-)

I don’t know what the other reviewers of this are thinking, the music for this place is WAY too loud, and the cops have been called there several times. I used to live down the street and have seen more than one fight going on. If you want Portuguese food, go to New Bedford.
