If I’m in paw paw, I stop here to pick up things that are on sale… Mostly meats and canned goods. I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience here but I’m not a regular shopper here either. The shelves are always fully stocked and when something is on sale in their ad, they have it.

What an experience! I’ve been through Paw Paw many a time, but never have I stopped by the Family Fare. Whilst returning from the Detroit area by way of Niagara Falls, I was in need of a pit stop for hydration and de-hydration(pee pee in paw paw). So… Location: 5 out of 5 Super quick off 94. Gas stations and fast food abound if you would rather go to one of those places. Cleanliness and Organization: 4 out of 5 Quite clean, and well-organized. I was mesmerized by all of the people returning their bottles for the MI deposit in the very front. But once walking in, I realized that the store was spacious, clean, and open. I found what I needed very quickly, and was on my way. The restroom facilities were also well-maintained. Remember, I had to Pee Pee in Paw Paw. Selection: 3.5 out of 5 A normal selection of items. I thought I’d see more Michigan micro-brew items(just windowshopping), but I was interested in that Labatt makes a lime beer just like Bud Light. Woo hoo? But, for what I was looking for(powerade and energy drink), this store was everything I needed it to be. Customer Service: 4 out of 5 I’m a sucker for these types of things, but the fact that once you get into the store — there’s a little kiosk with a water cooler, popcorn, and coffee — it really says something. And I KNOW it isn’t that expensive to maintain or to get the water or make the coffee — but the fact that they obviously do the small things to make you feel just a little bit better about where you are was good. And, I’m not sure what happened, but it seemed like you had to specifically ask for plastic bags. I don’t know if there was a surcharge for them. All I know is that I would see the cashiers hand the customers bags instead of just having bags at the end of the conveyor belt where other places might have people bagging your groceries for you. Price: 5 out of 5 Luckily, Powerade was on sale. There did not appear to be any type of «card club» at this location. I’m sure people appreciate that. Overall: 4 out of 5 Great place, easy to get to if you’re traveling on 94, and friendly folks.

I worked here as a grocery store clerk. The prices are okay. When I worked here I always knew what sales were going on so I would pass that info on to my mom for when she needed to get groceries. If you can work your way through the sales ad then the prices aren’t too bad. The store is pretty clean too. No bugs, mice, etc. The produce, bakery/deli, and meat sections are all great. Not a problem with them at all. In fact some of the stuff you can get at the deli is delicious. And since they remodeled they even have an organic foods section which I am always a fan of. In conclusion: A pretty average grocery store if I ever saw one(or worked at one). ;)
