White Castle

If Harold and Kumar ended their journey at this particular White Castle, they’d be disappointed at best.
I’ve been to many White Castles in my day, and this is definitely not among the best.
Service here is mediocre and a bit slow. The burgers themselves look very sloppily put together as well. And most importantly, they don’t taste as good as I’ve known them to taste at other locations.
Unfortunately, this is the only one in the area, so there isn’t much choice for cravers around here.

First of all this place has the worst service ever tht I have ever been too I’m so tired of these ppl taking orders and then messing the orders up and no one taking anything from her it’s ok I know the regional manager and they will get to the bottom

I now live in s city without WC and miss them very much. The frozen burgers at the grocer just don’t cut it. I got my fix today at the WC in Paterson. Same great flavor, same great taste. Don’t go there for the friendly service cause you won’t get it. Go there for the sliders, they haven’t changed in 40 years and that’s just he way I like it.

If you like White Castle, then it worth a visit.

2) The neighborhood is bad, but do not worry about your life. However, try not to go in an awkward time.
3) The sliders are worth a try.
4) The cheese fries are great

This was my very first visit to a White Castle… I would not choose to go back. I got 1 cheese burger and cheesecake on a stick. The burger was too greasy for the size. and it carried no flavor. The cheesecake was the highlight. it was surprisingly good. The staff needs a training on customer service and how to work their headsets, I waited for about 5 min — listening to a conversation they were having about someone before ordering. As far as the area, I didnt have issues with gun shots, crack heads, or trouble getting in or out of the parking lot. I didnt fear for my life or fear that I was going to be robbed.

Alright guys, this is White Castle. So as far as the food goes, it’s not any better or worse than any other White Castle. And sometimes I need something quick, greasy, and nostalgic like the little sliders I grew up with here, so yea, I have and will continue to come here as long as I live in Paterson. The only thing that differs here from other locations is the level of accessibility and safety, in which this location does not provide in any capacity. During the day, it’s a busy intersection and tough to exit, and I have heard gunshots down the block while waiting in the drive-​thru lane late at night. The news later confirmed this the following morning. There’s frequently people who beg outside and will even walk up to you at the drive-​thru, and there’s occasionally a random crackhead screaming in the air for no reason. I advise to bring a single credit/​debit card, leave cash at home, and go through the drive-​thru window. At least if someone tries to rob you, you stand to lose less. There is a reason why Harold and Kumar did not consider this location in the movie, so I don’t blame anyone for avoiding. But if I have the craving, I will be back.

So I am giving this review mostly based on the neighborhood it was in because the food itself was fine. My husband and I wandered off the interstate and ended up in Paterson looking for food. This was probably one of the scariest neighborhoods I have been to in awhile. Beware beware!
