The food is horrible, had the worst 2 day old jerk chicken ever, wasn’t even jerk chicken, just some old ass spicy chicken, old rice. Brought this just yesterday, you can’t be more recent than that! Beware!!!

This place has been around for years and is a little hole in the wall spot. Very easy to miss. The food used to be VERY good. They recently changed owners though and I feel that the food isn’t as good as it used to be. Still a worthwhile choice for some authentic Jamaican cuisine.
Just be warned they are cash only!

This place has been around for a long time and in some cases if your not from around paterson you might miss it since its so small. Dont be fooled though if your looking for a good place to get some Jamaican food this is a great spot to hit. They offer a sit down setting but really most people just get the food to go since the place is so small. They have really good beef patties, great jamaican hard dough bread and if you think you can handle it I definitely recommend trying the oxtail stew. Beware, this dish in particular is pretty oily so if you cant handle that then try something else on the menu. The price is pretty fair for the amount of food you get with most dishes hanging around 8 bucks. While your there try the traditional jamaican soda they have there (cola champagne is awesome).
