Patchogue Bagel Deli

Today I had a horrible experience with this bagel store. First let me say that I’ve been going to them for several years religiously and have never had a problem. But today the Asian guy that works there served me and as he was ringing me up he dropped one of my bagels on the floor and it unwrapped and half fell out onto the floor. I saw this clearly with my own two eyes. But I think he didn’t realize that I could see it because of how close it was to the counter. Well I did see it and he thought it was ok just to pick the bagel up and put a new wrapper on it and try to put it in the bag. Now here’s the thing, I clearly asked him not to put that bagel in my bag with the rest of the bagels. And with that being said I thought he would clearly understand that I was not happy with the whole situation that he clearly knows he did wrong, and I thought he would have offered me a new bagel. NOPE !. He just rang me up, charged me for the dirty bagel and sent me on my way as to say «oh well «sorry your not a happy customer. Smh. So on the way out the door I threw it into the trash right next to the counter right in front of the employee. Again no one stopped me and offered anything, an apology, a new bagel. Nothing. So now I am upset and I have to go to another store and get another bagel. Then I get home and I decide to call the bagel store and put a Sicily complaint in, the girl who answered the phone claims, she saw the bagel fall and it didn’t unwrap, basically calling me a liar. Then clearly with an angry voice tells me that I should bring the bagel back and get a refund. I can’t believe that a stupid bagel could ruin my whole day smh. This place needs some professional training in customer satisfaction as well as how to handle a simple complaint call. Guys, next time do the right thing and just throw out a fallen bagel weather it unwrapped or not and satisfy your customers. FYI you just lost a customer who’s been giving you my buisness for many many years.

The staff is so friendly even when they are busy… Quick and delicious… a little pricey but always fresh and good.

Seriously impressive bagels. Every time I come visit family on LI, from Manhattan [bagel capital of the universe], we order bagels from here. They always come fresh, warm, soft on the inside with a nice crust. I honestly do not think I have ever had a better onion bagel in my life. [i love when the bagels are coated heavily with toppings]

Fresh Hot bagels. Huge coffee bar. Delicious sandwiches made exactly how you want them. Fast sweet staff. This place is jumping in the am and for a good reason. Love Patchogue Bagel Deli! Mmmm…

My office ordered breakfast from this deli and they didn’t have the bagel I wanted after the order was placed. Instead of calling us back to let us know, they delivered the rest of the food and refused to come back with another bagel. They were extremely rude and we will not be ordering from them again.

Best bagels. Service can be weird, and they’ve gotten my order wrong once or twice, but nothing can negate the deliciousness of these bagels. Egg everything all the way.

That pretty much says it all. I’ve seen copies of the bacon creamcheese, but none compare to this. And they slather so much on, you’re inarguably in heaven. I get it on an egg everything (or a braided bagel). And their bagels happen to be pretty damn good.
Plus, they make a KILLER egg sandiwch. Egg american and ham piled high on a braided bagel?! That takes skill to pull it off as well as they do. The hardest part is how to choose between bacon herb or eggs.
I don’t live close, but I will go out of my way to have bagel from here. It’s worth it.

I’ve been eating here since I was a little kid — we used to go on Sundays after Church. Still enjoy going when I’m home. Love the overstuffed BLT on an everything bagel!

Decent bagels, fluffy and airy, if you have an appetite, you’ll likely need two.. . breakfast specials, and sandwichs are named after the local South Shore sites, towns, & buoys. Old-​timers hang out and read the paper. A good shop, though the service is usually disconnected.. . I guess you have to be to serve the skels, dregs & bottomfeeders that frequent this dirty shopping center; which also is home to Jimmy’s Bar, an OTB racing theater, a laundromat, a 99 cent store, El Nopal Taquerita, Pollo Rico take-​out, Chinese Food, a Rent-​a-​Center, Check-​Cashing Place, Plaza Hip-​hop & Sneaker Outfittery, and the bus stop for Suffolk County Transit routes 66, 68, & 7B.
