Everything about this place is awesome, the food the beer, the atmosphere. I’ve never been disappointed, and their lunch special is great for the price.

Bobbique is the ultimate bar in Patchogue. If you are some kind of person who has never been here before then you need to come in and see what makes Patchogue great. They have the best beer always on tap, hosted by the greatest staff!!! Many or some specialities to be discovered here. Good beer and great food.

Love the atmosphere: casual, funky and fun. Shared a dinner with friends and had a great time. We shared appetizers of the wings(meaty, flavorful) and fried pickles(tangy). We gobbled them up. I had the shrimp and sausage combo, which I enjoyed. My wife and friend lived their ribs. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and added to our enjoyment. We lingered for the conversation and live music over beers and scotch. They have a great selection of beers on tap. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we had on previous visits. I recommend it

This place has a great vibe! Really good BBQ stuff. Pretty large beer selection also! And they have live music, what’s not to love!

Pretty cool spot in the heart of Patchouge. Have delicious and authentic bbq food, a great selection of drinks, and some nights they even have live music which is awesome! Whether it’s for dinner or a couple drinks, Bobbiques does not disappoint!

Bobbique is always great for getting your barbecue craving satisfied. Pulled pork is legendarily good. Though actually they are a bit on the pricier side of things. You do get a lot of food for your money, to be fair.

Was visiting a friend in that area from NJ and Unilocaled this place up. If I could it would be 3 ½ stars. Pretty good. My friend loves the fried chicken and waffles. He claims Jesus was in there(his words not mine). I had the bbq chicken, sweet potato fries(came with this Jesus dipping sauce), hand cut fries(amazing), Mac and cheese, sausage, collard green, fried pickles(so damn good), buffalo wings, potato salad(I liked a lot, plain and classic). Not necessarily that order. Collard greens were way too sweet, cornbread didn’t seem fresh but was ok, Mac and cheese was great, classic(although I can see why people think it’s just meh. Sausage was a bit salty(but again just my taste buds.) Dessert was disappointing. They didn’t have the brownie one and banana pudding was meh(got it cause it was the only thing available) and ice cream. There was surprise live entertainment that night who played mostly country music but does requests(just not Usher). I tend to order the world when I’m out especially when the place is far away. I’ll order the rest when I come back They didn’t have most of the beer on tap which was very disappointing because I came specifically for those. I’d go again because good vibes and my waitress was amazing and happy(short blond hair, sorry forgot her name). She left a great impression. Two more things One. Appetizers came out hot but the main course did not, for people who care. But to me it was perfect temperature. And the food came out quick Two. The house sauce that was on the table… put that on everything.

Went on a Tuesday night, it was slightly busy but not packed. My party of 4 was sat at a booth right next to the bar where the only light was from the street lights outside. It took our server at least 10 minutes to greet us, but by the looks of it there was only 2 servers on so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. When she finally greeted us we asked if she could raise the lights a little and then placed our orders. I asked about a drink I had a while back which our server informed me isn’t on the drink menu anymore but they could make for me. After ordering we sat for a good 10 minutes until we received our drinks and another 20 minutes until the food arrived with no attention from our server, or lights on at our table. When the food did arrive we asked our server about he lights again and she did make it brighter for us. The food was very good but in my opinion a couple things were very sweet(the collard greens and bbq sauce). Overall the food was good and at the right price range for what it was but the service was spotty and could be improved on.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this amazing establishment yet, as I have been a customer since they opened their doors many years ago. I have been here roughly 150 – 200 times since they have began in Patchogue. Their craft beer list and fantastic food has me constantly coming back. They also are always changing up their liquor and beer selections. The have live entertainment all the time and great specials to watch all the major games on television(including their large projection screen for the biggest events). If you are in Patchogue and love great beer, great food, live entertainment and I would be remiss not to mention one of the best staff on Long Island, then come to Bobbique! Thanks for everything guys!

There is no way I drove down south in 15 minutes, but that’s what it felt like at Bobbique! It’s excellent food with a noticeable smokey taste. I showed up at 12pm but didn’t realize they opened at 2pm so after a short detour around town I made my way back. Two store down, before I got to Bobbique I new it was opened because I smelled the place before I got there. I felt like a mouse drawn to cheese and I couldn’t turn away. When I got inside there were a lot of people there, so I see patrons don’t waist time getting there. I was excited to see the waitresses so happy to greet me. They walked us to a table, I didn’t want to sit there so they let me pick the table i wanted, nice touch! Our waitress, Sera, was perfect! We never waited for a thing, Sera was on everything. The bartender, even though she had a Jets jersey on, was also very inviting. I felt like I was king of the mountain, and I couldn’t find one thing wrong. The place was low lit with visuals everywhere to keep you entertained while we waited. But there was no waiting at all. Sera put our orders in and they came out nice and hot fast. The loaded fries were covered with cheese and meat and had a smokey flavor to them. They gave you enough to enjoy while you waited for your meal. My meal in one word, magnificent! They smoke all the meat so it has real flavor and the meat on the ribs, slid right off the bone. The BBQ sauce they use is a top shelf marinated too! I would buy it if they would sell it to me. The mac & cheese was good and they give you a nice size corn bread with your meal. Why did I not come here sooner? My favorite item was… I really loved the… wait I can’t decide! I liked everything! You can’t pick anything on the menu and not like it. This place deserves 6 stars if Unilocal would add that feature for me, I could honor the best in dining experience, I will not abuse it, just saying. If you live in Patchogue and you never been here, I hope you correct that mistake. If your reading this from out of town, I hope your planing a trip here now.

I have eaten here many times. Very tasty food. Not a huge fan of live bands in the evenings but that seems to be a draw for most people. Never been let down with the food.

Really disappointing. Brisket sandwich consisted of cubed, firm meat slathered with sauce, accompanied by limp greasy fries. Ice been told other things are good but I’m not inclined to go again.

Staying with four stars but updating based on my recent visit. I still love the ribs very tender with a nice hint of heat. Had the pulled pork for the first time, also very good and tender, these sliders go down fast but they’ll fill you up so be careful not to ruin your appetite. Smoked wings are still a favorite of mine as well. They now have selection of 8 – 10 Hard Ciders on the menu which is good for us folks who can’t stomach beer at all. I went with the Doc’s Apple, which was good not as crisp as Stella or Longbow but very nice, and no fake cinnamon added(yuk) !! The only thing we wished were different was the chopped brisket. In general we all prefer our brisket sliced(thinly please), but there are enough other menu options to prevent this form becoming a deal breaker. Oh Crap, Forgot to mention the Collard Greens! First time I’ve had these. Very good, firm and well seasoned. Best surprise of the night. If you like good greens, add these to the rotation.

The venue itself is great, really good location right on Main street in Patchogue(parking can be a problem, though) and the staff is wonderful. Food, not so much. We tried a variety of items… the appetizer was the fried dill pickles, the two dinners were combos with different meat items and sides chosen. Pulled pork was good if maybe a bit on the salty side. The house BBQ sauce is not great, just okay, so don’t look for help there. The sweet potato fries were FANTASTIC. St. Louis ribs were overcooked and slightly burnt, did not come off the bone easily and were dry to boot. Not thrilled with the ribs. The chicken made up for it by being flavorful and well BBQ’d. The other sides… BBQ beans were also fantastic and the cole slaw was the sweet variety and tasty. Cornbread was dry and over baked. Appetizer of fried dill pickles were over fried as well and super hard, almost impossible to bite into. For food, unless you are just ordering sweet potato fries, BBQ chicken, and BBQ beans, I’d say it wasn’t the best BBQ we’ve encountered. Beer was great, they have a lot on tap and they are known locally for their live music on the weekends so that is a good thing. I would definitely come back to see live music, have a beer, and just hang out and have fun. Not so much for the BBQ food, though. One thing we noticed(besides the staff being so friendly and nice overall) is that the food order comes out super quick once you order. Not sure why that is unless everything is just already cooked in the kitchen and all they do is plate it up. I think on the apps like the fried dill pickles they should take their time so they don’t over fry it and make it too crunchy, but it had to be the same person who made the sweet potato fries and they were cooked perfectly. So I don’t know. We did not complain nor send anything back for a re-do. It wasn’t THAT bad, just noticeable. Of course we tipped properly, the staff did nothing wrong and were awesome. Just my honest review of our night there. Sorry, Bobbi-que. We wanted to love the food but we just didn’t.

My journey with Bobbique has been long, arduous, and sometimes rewarding… When this place first opened, I got one of those restaurant dot com gift card gems, and head over to check out some BBQ, see if they could come close to some of the great BBQ I’ve been lucky enough to check out. You know, the kind of BBQ a New Yorker can only dream about, with sweet tea and country girls; all jokes aside, I sat at the table, reviewed the menu, and couldn’t wait to try everything. Bobbique has got their«queties» as they deem the ladies there to help ya out, and I’m sure they’ve got some sort of tea… However with a bar like this how do you order tea? The craft beer options and bourbons are a dream! The food came out and I was disappointed immediately when I recognized that Kraft style Mac n cheese, the BBQ however looked divine, so I dove in. The pulled pork was fantastic, the wings huge and sticky, and my only real let downs were the BBQ sauce on the table, and that krap they kraft up and call Mac and cheese. Visit two they told us they were no longer accepting the gift card after we ate so that was a bummer, and on top of that, our pork was sorta dry, and trying to make it better with their ketchupy BBQ was a joke. Visit three– god awful on the food, god awful. Over the years I’d go just to drink some great craft beer, both tapped and bottled, here n there I would try some food, a good sausage a bad slaw, just sort of hit or miss whenever I went, the last time I got a big group together, 3 of us actually felt sick. Years went by like this and over the last two or so, we’ve all been back, over and over and over again, clearly something keeps you there. The food is way more consistent now, and always good, get what you like and stick with it, that’s the trick. Good vibes, great live music, good food has conquered, their Mac n cheese has been resilient to say the least, staying in its place… It’s fine I suppose. I love the pulled chicken(get it over the house salad) Sausage is good Potato salad is dope! Wings are still huge & sticky; yummy. This is great drunk BBQ for sure and you’ll always have a good time, bring good people and drink good brews. My roller coaster is over with them, I’ve come around a great deal and feel bad for ripping them apart the way I did like 6 years ago but they just aren’t consistent. I was highly disappointed back then but now I’m a bit more positive here n there. I don’t like how overcrowded it can get but then again, those are some of their most fun nights. Visit 600 — awesome time– and great BBQ if you’re drunk and with fun people. I’d still stick to the booze though to be honest.

Raining on a day you wanted to sit out side and grill? Head to Bobbiques. Amazing BBQ food! Clean place, yet expect to get messy! They kindly place paper towel rolls at every table because they know you are going to pig out. Its a BBQ place, go crazy! Let your wild side out.

Probably one of the best barbeque restaurants that I’ve been to in a while. They serve a hefty amount and the portions are big enough to share with another person. I came with my roommates and a few other friends from Stony Brook Univ. for my birthday and we were all extremely stuffed and were entering a food coma half way through our meal. My friend and I shared the Combination with Jumbo Wings and Ribs and it was delicious. I didn’t expect to be given such a huge amount of fries, but we ordered sweet potato fries as an extra side and it filled almost half our plate. It was very satisfying and well worth the price, even though it was a pretty far drive from campus. I ordered something to go two minutes before closing and the waitress was very nice about it. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Just had my first dining experience at Bobbique last night and I have to say that I am already a fan! The bbq ribs and pulled pork were incredibly tender and succulent. The cornbread and mac and cheese were definitely highlights of the meal as well. For being such a reasonably priced place, you are getting high quality and very flavorful southern-style food. The beer list is top notch here! In addition to having all of Long Island’s brews represented here, Bobbique had some pretty hard to find and unique craft beer. I went with the Ketucky Bourbon Barrel Ale which paired excellent with the hearty bbq fare. Although I was a little dissapointed they were out of Grapefruit Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point. Next time though! The waitstaff were frinedly and knowlegable when it came to their beer list and were quick to make paring suggestions. I went on a Monday night so it was as quiet as a morgue, but I would definintely like to return on a night when they have live music. Will definitely be returning here soon. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I visited Bobbique’s last night and while our experience was as expected I was really hoping it would be better than I expected. OUREXPERIENCE: When we first walked in we were not greeted by the hostess, you know when usually walk into a restaurant on a busy Friday night you get stopped with a question like«how are y’all doing tonight or how many?» But the two ladies at the front were busy with something else(phone, register, I really couldn’t tell). Anyway, we walked to the counter and asked to see a menu so that we could order take out and were given one menu to look at(there were two of us), I was a little annoyed by that;however, we were making it work with one menu. One of the girls at the front realized we were struggling a bit because my bf and I wanted totally different items off their menu so they gave us another one. I ordered a regular cheese burger that came with lettuce tomatoes, onions & fries, I wanted to change the fries for onion rings but the lady told me it wasn’t really worth it because they charge $ 2 extra to change it and only give 3 onion rings(I was thankful for the tip). I also wanted my onions on my burger cooked. He ordered wings and something with pulled pork. REVIEWONTHEFOOD: –burger was dry — burger bun was so soft, I loved that –fries tasted like homemade fries but were soggy — I asked for one thing special and that was cooked onions but didn’t get that –BBQ wings were burnt and had very little BBQ sauce on them — I can’t speak for the pulled pork meal my bf had WILL I COMEBACK? — we had take out and didn’t try their drinks so ill prob come back just to eat in and see what their drinks are like in the hopes it brings up a better review. ATMOSPHERE: LOVEDIT! A older crowd but that was cool. I really liked that they had a live band too.
