omg $ 1 authentic tacos!!! I have not had some good authentic Mexican food since I moved from TX to NJ! This spot is cheap and freaking delicious. It was packed too when i walked in, so I knew I was going to enjoy my food. We got chicken and Al Pastor. Both delicious! I loved the spicy sauce and green sauce combo. Fresh toppings on top as well. This will be a spot I may frequently go to!

Great prices, awesome variety’s of tacos for just a dollar each. Very authentic, very delicious, not expensive. Parking is a bit tough to find on some days.

I’ve only had the tacos here. For $ 1.00-$ 1.50 each, these tacos are delicious and make for a nice quick and cheap lunch. Al pastor abd chorizo are my top choices, but you can’t go wrong with any of their tacos.

Wow, what a find! These 1.00 tacos not only are cheap, they taste fantastic! The pork tacos that is… The chicken tacos were not as good because they were dry. I also had the Picaditas, they were awesome! And this place takes Apple Pay!

$ 1 tacos. Friendly waitresses. Clean. Street parking only so pay the meter. Chicken and chorizo are delicious. Different fresh fruit drinks each day.

Tacos were great friendly staff will definitely come back. Friendly staff I really liked that they use the small tacos.

Excellent tacos for $ 1. With a bottle glass of Coke for $ 2. Felt like I was in Mexico.

I don’t usually rate 5 stars on just 1 visit, but u already know I will be back for their tacos! Can’t go wrong with these $ 1 tacos. The place was clean with nice décor and their service was awesome.

I’d say 3.5 stars for this place, because they screwed up twice on my order. But I’m rounding down because I just noticed the error on my take out, and now I’m hungry and slightly annoyed.
I was very excited to have some authentic tacos, with more options than just chicken, beef, or pork. And at $ 1-​$ 1.50 per taco, you can totally pig out for just a few bucks.
As everyone else said, the tacos are delicious! The red sauce is nice and spicy, and the green salsa verde is flavorful. Unfortunately, I ordered five tacos to get a good sample of their different varieties, and they only brought out four. I thought maybe they didn’t write down all five varieties (and I was pretty full after four anyway). However, when I received the check, they did in fact charge me for all five. Oh well, no big deal. After all, it was only a dollar or dollar fifty (I’m not actually sure which one was forgotten).
I also ordered a steak burrito to take home for dinner. I know I said steak because the lady taking my order confirmed it twice. So just now I finally had a chance to dig in to my order. Everything looked good– giant burrito served with a side salad of lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado slices… But when I took my first bite, I noticed that the burrito was really bland, dry, and most importantly, not steak! They gave me a dry, chicken burrito instead! For shame… I was looking forward to a nice, juicy, steak burrito. I would have been better off going to Chipotle. At least there, I could have seen them making the whole thing in front of me.
Oh well, I’ll probably be back since those tacos are just too cheap to pass up. Just beware if you’re ordering take out that they don’t screw up your order or give you less than you paid for.

Since I was driving nearby, I stopped in for my one dollar taco lunch today. Two tacos al pastor and 2 tacos lengua really hit the spot. The green sauce has a nice kick to it and is the perfect accompaniment. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll thank yourself later!

Great little authentic Mecican place only a few miles away from me. Ordered 3 tacos to give it a try, all were seasoned well and was exactly what I wanted. The green and red sauces they place on the table took the tacos from a 3.5 to a 5! I would drink it! Can’t wait to stop back for a full meal or snack on some tacos again!

$ 1 tacos you cant beat that! My faves were al pastor and chorizo. The guacamole and steak tostadas were also very very good.
Would highly recommend this place.

Our first time here and all I can say is that the tacos are off the hook! Also tried the «water» which is actually cantaloupe juice, very refreshing.

Mexico Deli is the go-​to spot in Passaic.
Their décor is highly festive… with various murals on the walls, three large flat screens, and plenty of seating.
They have $ 1 TACOS! The tacos are well-​served in a a double tortilla. They have a great selection of meat ingredients for your tacos. They are served with onions and cilantro, you add the spicy sauce at your liking.
I’ve been looking for a place that makes POZOLE! and, this place has satisfied my pozole needs.
Hay Pozole Blanco, Verde, y Rojo. I opted for the Pozole Blanco. It was good.
This place is solid, the servings are huge, and the ambiance is chill.
They lose a star because the servers may not always provide the best and efficient service. There might be a wait time. and, on one occasion, the back kitchen closed early and were only serving tacos.

The portions here are very generous. The Taste makes you think you’re in Mexico. It’s as close to being authentic as can be. The environment is warm friendly and cozy. The service is exceptional. They even have Música de Mariachi that plays all the time. Also fútbol is on other screens if that’s what you’re into.

3.5…for now…
So this place is a little bit off the beaten path for me, but the allure of $ 1 authentic tacos drew me in!
It is small, yet clean and nicely decorated.
My lunch-​date and I felt a bit rushed. Although we were there for tacos we still wanted to look over their menu. Instead of being seated, we waited by the counter and were immediately asked what we wanted.
If you dont speak spanish there is a slight language barrier. We also waited over 15 mins for our check and they werent even busy.
We ended up getting guacomole (fabulous) and an assortment of tacos. The tacos are a bit small and dont come with cheese. (apparently this is the authentic way) but for a $ 1 a pop, I’ll let it slide.
Overall if I am in the area I would stop by for a extremely cheap satisfying lunch. But if you are in the area definitely check it out. I wish they delivered to Lodi. :(
