I’m from Mexico and I get to experience the traditional mexican bakery items here, including cakes, «Reyes Magos» rosca bread for January 6th, birthday cakes, «tres leches» cake, conchas, cochinitos, and other (mostly sweet) bread items. It is a hole-​in-​the wall type place but it is clean and you can tell that they actually bake on the premises, having the look and feel of mexican bakeries.

My girlfriend was in town and suggest we find a local Mexican bakery to try out the pastries. I was skeptical at first because the place seemed like a hole in the wall. However, after tasting the savory Mexican treats I realized this bakery is a treat and another treasure hidden away in a urban neighborhood. Go visit. It is well worth the trip. Much better than the more expensive bakeries that line local Hoboken and Jersey City downtown area.
