The food is decent, the owner is a disrespectful racist. I was a weekly costumer living in the area. Being of middle eastern decent I assumed I would be welcomed. One day I was eating some falafel balls and looked at the bulletin board near the bathroom, next to it was racist propaganda about Palestinians(which Is the country im from) and many pictures bashing and labeling Muslims as savages and terrorists. When I approached the owner, whom I thought was a gentleman(when I was giving him business), he tells me «well, not all Palestinians are like you, some are barbaric» I was disgusted and told him racism in general is barbaric, the entire restaurant was silent and had their eyes to the ground, completely ignoring how openly racist this man is, I am still traumatized from this level of racism.

The pizza is amazing! And you gotta love the owner! As a staple to the local Jewish community, Teddy’s is definitely a recommended stop for lunch, dinner, or both!

Overall, great food at great prices. Considering this is a Jewish restaurant, you have to manage your expectations — ordering pizza is not the best idea. My son ordered a couple of slices once and they were somewhat rubberish, with a bland red sauce. However, when it comes to falafel… WOW! My favorite by far is the falafel parmiggiana — 6 – 8BIG falafel balls, drenched in sauce and shredded cheese. Enough for a large dinner and a small lunch the next day(for one person)! And it costs less than $ 7! Accompany the parmiggiana with their spanish rice(I know, weird!), which is always moist, well seasoned, and full of veggies. A single person gets the parm and the rice for less than $ 12 and has a fantastic meal. Cant wait to get my order again this week!

I’ve been coming here since I’ve been a kid. lt is closed Th-Sat night for Shabat. I come here for the falafel. White and hot sauces are perfect. Soft pita! Fresh veggies! The guys are very nice. This is a neighborhood staple. Families and their children are here at most times. Plenty of tables so never a problem, and very easy and quick for take out too! You would have to go to Paterson to get better fallaffel.
