Uncle Joe’s Pizza & Wings

The food is good but the kitchen gets orders wrong too much. The kitchen also takes forever to turn out an order. It is a positive the place is a non smoking facility though. The last time we ordered out we got shorter wings we ordered and overcharged.

Our family just ate here with a big group. They were fantastic! The wings were excellent and the pizza was very fresh. Our waitress was so sweet to the 5 kids we had at the table! We will definitely be back again!

I left an honest review about three months ago stating that my boyfriend and I used to work here and that the food was average. The owners confronted my boyfriend on the sidewalk right next door and asked about my «poor review on Unilocal?» My review was not «poor.» They go on to tell him that I am NO LONGER WELCOME!!! It was honest. There is no reason to get so butt-​hurt about an HONEST review. I did not bash the food and say it was gross or anything because it’s absolutely not. I just said it was average. Uncle Joe’s is not a five-​star restaurant. Chill.

Best Pizza on the coast. Love those extra crispy wings too. One pizza from Joe’s & you will never eat Dominos again!

My family and I love Uncle Joe’s! The pizza’s are big, delicious New York style and their hot wings are awesome! The service is great and it’s a very family friendly atmosphere. If you’re going to pick it up and go, call ahead about 15 minutes so you don’t have to wait.

Great pizza and fantastic wings! My family loves going here. Also have used the arcade room to host end of season parties for sports teams. Wait staff is always accommodating to large groups.

Average food, reasonably priced but the thing that stands out the most, is the WHOLLY inappropriate music screaming from the kitchen, making conversation almost impossible along with the «urban» uncensored music emanating from above the bar. This was not a one time thing, but has been the atmosphere the last 3 times we have stopped for lunch. NO way I would bring kids, my parents or even someone I respected while this dynamic existed. Suggestion to the owner… Turn the kitchen music WAY down and pay attention to who has the remote at the bar. It’s a restaurant… not Da Club.

Great pizza and wings. Family owned and operated. Way better then any franchise pizza joints. I’ve been going there for two years and never had a bad experience.

The food was great, the girls/​waitresses flirting with my boyfriend not so much. It is disrespectful to me. No girl should walk up to and stop another womans boyfriend on his trip to the bathroom! It is rude she waited for him to walk away from me before she approached him to flirt it up. I understand you are trying to earn a tip but come on. That is rude to me and puts him in a bad situation. Like I said food is good and beer is cheap but they have some questionable ladies working there.

Uncle Joe’s has the best wings around ! I have ordered them two days in a row because they are THAT good. My only suggestion is to add the option of providing a name or phone number as a way to collect rewards. As a regular customer, I like to receive reward points but I often miss out when the card isn’t available at the time of picking up carry out.

Great food! Lemon pepper wings are to die for. Lots to choose from on the menu… Personal pizza with drink is a great lunch special!
Sometimes the service is a little slow, but other than that I’m a fan!

The first time oddering, I got a pizza and wings. Food was average, nothing spectacular. The second time I go the same thing. Only this second time I found a rock/​pebble on my pizza. Found it the next morning when I bit into a slice and the rock scrapped against my tooth. Never again for this place. It’s not worth it.

It was clean and our server was very good. Those were the highlights.
We had a cheese pizza and philly cheese steak.
The pizza made me long for my elementary school cafeteria. That’s not good. The doughy was flavorless and true cheese was bland.
The pizza was better than the cheese steak which was so awful. Meat was overcooked and under seasoned. That’s a bad combo. It’s not near my house so I’ll probably not be going back.

I like some of the people working there.
I don’t like people that smoke cigarettes or cigars, especially when I’m eating.

There is a kid trap game room it’s just to close to the bar.
I only like my children, just like I only like my dog.

Went on a tip. Found to be over priced, skimpy for what ordered – white pizza with veges. Nothing special. Just another country café for country tastes trying to be gourmet. Not gourmet, just overpriced with fresher ingredients and an eclectic mix of ideas on menu. Atmosphere was roomy, but too roomy – another dining room not even in use. Walk in & bar is right in front of you. Would not take children there, but had many families dining in. I had carry out. Seemed clean, well staffed, but took 3 waitresses to check me out on a call in. Only «upscale» pizza in Diamondhead. Would have done better at Pizza Hut. Have worked/​managed in Pizza biz several years and as a professional Classical French Chef. If you wan to be upscale, you gotta do it with atmosphere, appropriate pricing for quality and staff. This is just a sucker punch for those who don’t know better. Stick with P Hut.

Pizza was horrible. More sauce than cheese… more crust than pizza. Wings were from pigeons I think. Smallest wing I’ve ever seen. Hopefully it was a bad night for them but that was my first time eating there. Never go back for sure. If you don’t smoke… I bet you smoke about a pack from second hand smoke there. Overall experience was horrible. I like to support family business but it was a horrible experience. If I’m back over that way I’ll choose Domino’s. Better food and a lot CHEAPER! If you take kids there… might as well put a cigarette in their mouths!

Our kids love their pizza subs, however it us very smoky. This place is too small for a nonsmoking area to be helpful. It was too smoky for my children so we took the food to go.

The pizzas here are awesome! The wings are great also! I like them naked and with a crisp…

Excellent Pizza. Great NFL day pizza deals. I always take my daughter here for Who Dat Sundays. Lots of Kid games that she love’s to play. Good bar scene for the youths. Always pretty waitresses and never any problems.
