Taco Bell

I hate to admit that I stopped at a few TBells on my Holiday Roadtrip. Taco Bell happens to be my favorite fast food establishment, but not all are created equal.
This is a small taco bell in a great location just off the 101 freeway. I needed a quick pit stop on my way from Santa Barbara to the Bay Area. I was in need of a quick break, some food in my system and some caffeine to make the rest of the trip. My first observation was that the restrooms were clean, which shouldn’t be worth mentioning because all bathrooms should be that way.
I tend to order, and love, the original taco bell basics. I love me a good taco or bean burrito. Since I was flying solo and driving, i needed something easy to eat in the car that i could eat without wearing it or getting food bits all over my car. I ordered a bean burrito with extra red sauce and a medium iced tea. My order was ready in fewer than 2 minutes and I was on my way. My burrito was as fabulous as a taco bell bean burrito can get.
I’m sure that wasn’t my last run for the border.

Ordered a bean burrito with extra cheese and light onions… got home to eat it and was given a plain burrito with NO cheese and NO onions. Awful.

I just went to the Taco Bell on 24^th Street in Paso Robles and I was so impressed with the gal at the window around 7PM. First, she greeted me with a friendly smile and asked how I was and genuinely seemed interested, next she didn’t just bark out the amount owed but professionally announced my total. And then get this… she actually looked in my bag and repeated my order!
Kudos to Taco Bell for this stellar employee! When the McDonalds up the street still barely looks at you as they command the amount$$ you owe. It was a nice change.
AND… they got my order right!

Wow. What a find. Having traveled extensively throughout Mexico, central America, and south America, believe me when I say these guys truly hit the mark. Not one other Mexican restaurant in town comes close. The beef tacos are to die for. Fresh vegetables, excellent spices, homemade tortillas, wonderful!!! I will never eat at another spot.

Fast & excellent service. I’ve been here 3 times in 6 weeks and the drive-​up cashier remembers me. Always smiling with a quick wit. Very rare in my experience. [Notice to competition: Train your people to make eye contact.]

Came here a few nights back heading home from work, went through the drive threw and it was quick and easy. Friendly staff and great food.

Taco Bell can’t even be considered mexican food so I don’t even know why it’s listed as such.
Food here is your typical taco bell junk food and far from authentic.

One of the best crunch wrap supremes I’ve ever had at a taco bell. Very clean and the bathrooms were flawlessly clean. There’s free wifi but didnt get a chance to try it. Food came out so quickly.
Only flaw was there were no freezes, but the employee was very apologetic and very pepped to take your order.

Well two different locations same freaking results «WRONG ORDER» sad story but I give two starts for the waffle taco! Bad locations «pasorobles, niblick st, paso robles, 24^th street»

It’s a chain fast food place. Food was good, service was outstanding and the speed was great even though they were busy. Place was super clean… Def a well run place

Ordered a few taco supremes and they actually loaded them up! The tacos were full and it looks like they took extra care with making them.
Warning: they don’t allow walk up customers when only the drive-​thru is open.

The food comes at a decent, if not fast speed and nothing has ever sent us running to the bathroom. Nonetheless, this place has a horrible parking lot which is nigh impossible to get in or out of during lunch hour. Avoid during peak times if you don’t want to have fast food turn into slow food.

Definitely the best green bean burrito I’ve had from Taco Bell yet! After a little wine tasting, this was perfect quench to our hunger. The tortillas were grilled and the ingredients were steaming hot. Plenty of cheese in the burrito too! Great work, Paso TB!

We were on our way south to Thanksgiving and had to stop for dinner. It was quick, exactly what we wanted, and we left. We got to about San Luis when I decided I needed some gum. Where’s my purse? Can’t find my purse. We pull over and I use my husbands blackberry to look up my Unilocal review to find the phone number to call the place and yes they have my purse. Luckily they had found it right away so nothing was missing. Unluckily I had to hear about it for weeks.
Two Lessons Learned.
