Customer service is a foreign word here. I ordered a pastry — they just had to pull it from the case and hand It to me. I was told it would be right up. The person at the register kept taking other orders. When she called someone else to help her, I «saw» my order coming but no — he was instructed to add beans to a coffee machine. Even when there was no one else in line, no one made a move to fill my order. I got tired of waiting and asked for my money back. Had to wait for them(the person at the counter and her boss) to generate a refund slip and then i had to sign it(more time wasted). At no time did either apologize or ask if they could get my order for me. Suggest going someplace they want/appreciate your business.

I am an avid Starbucks fan. Why? Consistency. It’s as simple as that. I get the same drink once a day, sometimes two. I have done that now for years. This location was such a disappointment. I drove through, got my drink and noticed it tasted off. I am pretty sure there was no coffee in it, but that’s not really the point. I parked my car, got out of my car and went in. When I told them that I felt that my drink had no coffee in it, I was told that there most certainly was coffee in it. So I simply said, «well, can you remake it anyway?» The girl that was working the register walks over to me shows me the label and says«is this what you wanted?» I said yes and she blankly stares at me and says, «well that’s what we made.» I was dumbfounded. I just stared at her and said, «okay, so should I go to another Starbucks and have it remade?» She hands me the drink and says, «sure.» Are you kidding me? That’s when I admittedly got rude. I asked her to just remake it for me. So another girl remakes it and wouldn’t you know, it tasted like it always does. I used to work for Starbucks and the policy has always been to remake drinks if the customer isn’t satisfied. Plus I tipped when I got the original drink! I just don’t understand how someone can be so argumentative and rude. No apology, just defensiveness. This is NOT the Starbucks I frequent, but management, please, please, talk to your staff. I can’t even tell you how offended I was. Especially since when I walked in I didn’t even care! I just wanted it made right.

Outside of it being a smart location for a Starbucks everything here is lackluster. The interior of this Starbucks is like a giant after thought compared to other locations. Rickety chairs that are supposed to. ricket? Um, cool I guess? Tables that are too high so that you can’t comfortably sit in them. The tiniest sitting room area ever, but they do take full advantage of their outdoor patio(although a screen blocking the patio from the people ordering in the drive-thru would be great). It would also help if the staff regularly cleaned the bathrooms because the tiles were all marked up, the sink and toilet both looked like it could use a good cleaning. The customer service wasn’t memorable at all. Usually at a Starbucks for myself, it’s either completely amazing or just blah and this was neither. Hardly noteworthy. Did I feel like they were accommodating? Yeah, as long as they didn’t have to try too hard. This place just sucked. The quality of my iced chai tea latte was good, but seriously. It’s iced chai tea latte, I’ll get back to you when they make me something difficult.

BEST Starbucks around!!! The Baristas totally rock! They’re always super sweet and quick with the drinks… Even on those super busy days! I very rarely use a different Starbucks!

What has happened to this Starbucks??? Most of the experienced baristas are gone or have been transferred. They have been replaced by folks who do not know what they are doing. they can’t even properly put the lid on hot coffee, and it spills in laps! I do not understand why Starbucks would do this — is it to save money at the expense of customers’ well-being??? Who is the Manager at this store? Maybe they need to transfer him/her as well?

I asked for a drink that is not on the regular menu and ran into some resistance to have them make it, although I was completely willing to pay for it, and did not care if it came out chunky or whatever other reasons they were against making it. When I told them it was a drink that is currently all over the internet and huge in the fitness world, I received eye rolls.

This is my favorite Starbucks. I pass several other locations on my way to work but I stop at this one EVERY morning. I always use the drive-thru and the service is fast and accurate. They remember my name and are always cheery and friendly. Sometimes on weekends I even go out of my way to go to this location rather than any other. P. S. the Starbucks rewards card is the best thing ever! Its free and I get lots of perks and free drinks for being a loyal patron.

This Starbucks is a real disappointment. Especially when I have two family members that work at starbucks. They are rude and each person in there has a different story on certain«policies» they have and they differ from day to day. They really need to get their act together. One day they will fill up your ice tea that you bought earlier in the day at a different location(all you have to do is show your receipt) for .50 cents. BUT the next day they wont re fill the ice tea unless you bought it in THEIR store within the last hour and you could not have left and came back??? seeing that I buy an ice tea from starbucks everyday and some days I go in to get it re filled and this is the only starbucks who has ever given me so much grief for not buying my original iced tea at their location even with receipt in hand. I now try to avoid this starbucks because not only do they have conflicting information all the time but they are rude about it!

Ok so here’s my problem with Starbucks: they are just a coffee version of a big«box store». Why not try a local place like Amsterdam Coffee House, it has a WAY better location(downtown Paso Robles, right near the park) and WAY better coffee and food! Also, it’s a local company + it has one of those«everybody knows you’re name» feeling(literally, if you are a regular customer, they learn your name). They are much friendlier, too! Now, about Starbucks. Now no offense, but to me being so close to a freeway that you are bracing yourself to be smashed by an oncoming car, isn’t my idea of a nice morning coffee outing. And a few months ago they changed some of their baked goods, and now the new ones don’t even compare to the old ones. So, go somewhere local and get better drinks & food, better atmosphere, and better service. But if you’re in a serious hurry and just need your coffee fix, then at least this Starbucks is a drive-through.

One of the rare Starbucks drive thru locations. I haven’t been inside the actual shop but I appreciate the convenience of the drive thru. They’re pretty fast but the food options are more limited. I don’t think they have the breakfast sandwiches. It’s close to Target. Update: Actually, I just noticed two or three other Starbucks drive thru locations on the other side of the 101(going north) on my way back from LA. There are also quite a few newish Targets on that side.
