The sushi was delicious! Service was friendly and great as well. Recommend this little place to anyone. One of those hidden treasures you wouldn’t expect.

Not impressed, rolls were little and not much fish on it and the teriyaki chicken wasn’t good, I’ve had better, a lot better, and for the price It wasn’t worth it, tasted boiled, the aloha roll was small and bland, I’m a big sushi fan and just moved to the area this place is pricey and the quality is so so, so won’t be back, gonna find a another place to try. Service was good.

Only tried because its close to our new home. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star. I had a simple request to substitute krab in california roll with spicy due to artificial krab containing gluten which makes me very sick. The lady would not make any accommodations to rolls or menu even for my allergy. Very disappointing business practice. I am going to trusty goshis tonight.

A roach crawled out of my salad. A cockroach literally crawled out of my salad. Zero stars. I will never be back

After going to another sushi place for the longest time… and their food going downhill I was in of a new sushi place. This place makes the best sushi ever! Fresh and a good price. My new sushi place!

I want start off by saying the only reason why I’m giving this review a one star is because A) it’s forcing me to & B) the young guy that helped me was VERY nice. I left moments ago and left on a bad note. There was bugs on my plate! Yes BUGS. Not little ants but big bugs! When I told the Asian lady she took the plate from my hands and wiped it off and have it back to me!(Excepting me to continue eating it!) I gave it back and said I’m not eating this. She made me whisper and she walked away. I got up and noticed more all over the counter, she came back and started taking them off with her fingers! At this point, I’ve had enough. I walked to the front and she asks me «how would you like to pay…» I was shocked! She was going to act like this NEVER happened. Others were now hearing and started asking questions and she silenced me and basically showed me to the door as if I did something wrong. NEVERWOULD I EVERCOMEBACK.

Nice and fresh. Rolls could have been rolled better, but everything else was great. Good service as well.

I ordered the chicken ramen, and … the noodles were Top Ramen quality, the kind you buy for 19 cents at the grocery store. You don’t believe me? Take a look at my pic I posted. Chunks of chicken were chopped and just thrown in. Even had random pieces of carrots and peas in the broth. Not very Japanese-Ramen like. I didn’t want to go to hard on this place because I live near Los Angeles where we have great options for Asian food, but I think $ 7.95 for Top Ramen is a travesty. Be warned.

First time trying this. Lunch specials are awesome. Lunch combo is a Cali roll + 1 item for $ 9.95. First time sake is $ 1.00. It was good quality and enough for two. The regular menu had so many items to chose from. The service was great and they were all so friendly. Definitely a place I will return to, soon.

Haven’t been there in 6 months but heard they brought back the old chefs so It has to be better than it was before all the changes.

Food was good, one female sushi chef was awesome, real upbeat and motivated, everyone else way too busy to even check on us. Plus, saw a dead bug/cockroach on the floor where we were eating, yuck!

For those who know me I NEVEREVER give 5 stars on just one visit. But here I am and here it is! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I ended up trying the Spider, Double Double and the Kiss of Fire! The double double might just be my most favorite thing ever! I wish I had more to say, but here comes another delicious roll! Must go stuff my mouth with pure culinary heaven! Super special thanks to Stevie the wonder chef who really sold me on coming back when they opened! I will be back!

Lunch, expensive, beef terraki so tough, not edible. Salmon costs more, not good. Some guys in restaurant not eating, just watching the game, who look like gang bangers not coming back

The best times when I lived in Paso Robles was at Samurai Sushi and Roll. Never a dull or disappointing time!!! The food is fantastic and made to order. I would come in here during lunch hours with co-workers or for dinner with my crazy neighbors and/or co-workers. The service is fantastic(even when my friends are wild) and the owners are patient, helpful, and extremely fun to be around. The food: ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI!!! Yes sir! Four rolls for me and I am out cold! Best deal if you really love sushi and want to try more than one. All the sushi rolls are tasty, especially the fried tempuras! I really like the Three Amigo, Rainbow, Kiss of Fire, Monkey Ball, but my favorite is the Wasabi Special and Hawaiian Volcano Fire!!! If I do not want sushi for some bizarre reason, they also have Korean food like bi bim bap, teriyaki bowls, and delicious and hot soups for an excellent price!!! I also tried fried ice cream and I was in heaven!!! Come here for the food and the fun and bring your crazy friends! Trust me, if they can handle my former rowdy and insane friends, they can handle your crowd!

I went back… it was just as good and we thought about the sushi until we came back. Pete(the owner) was a really nice guy and this place is a real gem. Not to be overlooked because there are plenty of sushi places around. You will not regret going here.

The other night my friends and I had not eaten and I am sorry but having all lived in LA and now in Paso, we KNOW that there is not much to choose from here after 9PM besides Dennys and maybe one or two other places. But on Saturday nights, this place is open until 9:30!v Whooo hooo! No, but really, we just wanted to catch up after a meeting and soooo we ended up there and I am so glad we did… Funny, I have actually been going there for years and realized that I have never reviewed it. We showed up a little before 9PM(they close at 9:30PM on Saturdays) and we were greeted by the owner. She acted so happy to see us as well as several of her Sushi guys behind the counter. There were 3 of us and she even brought us 3 different bills.(Which was nice because I probably would have paide for all but it took away that whole feeling obliged thing… Anywaaay… even at closing they didn’t miss a beat. Everything was as fresh as if it were the opening hour! I had my regular, the rainbow roll, you get actual sushi on each piece and it is one of the lower calorie rolls. One of my friends had the crunchy roll and the other had the Volcano or something with scallops and salmon drizzled with a sauce that looked NOT on my diet at that time of night! But everyone ate every last bit of theirs. I thought that we would all take home half but… smile. I have never gotten poor service or anything other than the best sushi ever. Hands down, they are as good as any in West Hollywood or LA that charge twice as much for the exact same thing! Granted you are not overlooking the city lights and the ambience is not five star. But they are because… Don’t judge the book by the cover! The inside pages are filled with the best of the best! Five star dining! Five star review!
