So if you want to recycle cans on Saturdays you have to come here between 8 – 11 am. After that they turn you away. The staff really isn’t that friendly and the pay out is NOT worth the aggravation. I have not only heard numerous complaints about this place but have experienced it first hand.

This place robbed us. If they see people coming in with metal to recycle, who aren’t professionals in the industrial or construction industry, they will scam you out of what you should be paid for your scrap metal. The lady behind the counter said they weighed our truck with my boyfriend on the scale and me not on the scale, as we came up to the window, however he was about a half second behind me and there was no way it could have weighed it that fast. It was our mistake however not asking them to weigh the truck again before unloading it because when we did and came back, what was an entire back bed filled with scrap metal including an old AC unit (which weighed as much as my boyfriend ALONE) we ended up with a load of only 180 lbs and a pay out of $ 6. There’s no way that load weighed only 10 lbs more than me. It’s a pick up with an extended bed, 2500 diesel truck and the back bed was filled over the rim. Don’t go here. Find another place in the area or go to the recycling place in Santa Maria.

These guys recycle scrap metals, plastic bottles and aluminum cans. You can request drop-​off containers if you have a lot of scrap to sell, or you can drive just north of Paso Robles to drop it off at their yard.
