Paul is my new go-​to plumber. Answered the phone himself, arrived within the time frame he said he would (3 hours after phone call).
He found out that our water heater was still under warranty, and replaced the broken pilot mechanism while only charging for labor.
Also spent time explaining home water filtration systems, and let me know what was available on the market, without any pressure whatsoever to buy anything.

Paul, of Rocksteady Plumbing, did a great job replacing my garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. He happened to have a new one in his truck that was a slightly higher horse power than my old leaking disposal, but the same, well-​known and respected brand; exactly what I wanted. When I mentioned how difficult it is for me to reach the disposal on/​off switch, he mentioned that there is a way to hook up a special off/​on button (like what is used to turn hot tubs on) on top of the sink. He wasn’t pushy about installing it at all and at first I declined because I didn’t want to pay more money. However, I reconsidered when thinking about having to use a long wooden spoon in order to reach to turn on my disposal and that he was already here, it wasn’t that expensive, etc. Unfortunately, it turned out that my extra sink hole up top was not standard size and too small for the on/​off button. It still worked out great because Paul had the idea of putting the button in front underneath the faux drawer panel which is below the sink. It’s not that noticeable and I’m VERY happy about it. Paul did one other smaller job for me, installing a child-​proof safety latch on a cupboard that my dog recently discovered he could get bags of sugar, flour, and other goodies to eat while I’m gone. Paul did not charge me for doing this! He is very polite, neat and cleaned up after himself where he was working. Don’t let Paul’s long hair and long beard catch you off-​guard, he’s a gentleman plumber!

Paul with rocksteady plumbing is great. We have a plumbing company in south county and do not go to north county. Highly recommend paul every customer I’ve sent his way has nothing but great things to say. Give him a call you won’t be disappointed

I have known Paul for many years and used his plumbing services on several occasions. Some occasions were drain cleaning emergencies where my whole house was backed up (with guests over) or my kitchen drain line clogged just before holiday guests arrive. Another time I needed a whole new kitchen drain line installed under my house. Rocksteady plumbing is a top notch outfit. Knowledgeable, experienced and super professional. If you check my other Unilocal you will see I try to keep it real for the benefit of customers while still trying to be deferential and charitable to the businesses (it’s hard to run a business and some really manage it well).
