Nick’s Barber Shop is outstanding — as good as a barber shop gets. The price is right, they have military, senior and child discounts. This is the only shop on the central coast I have been able to get an excellent razor high and tight — and I’ve gotten about 20 since moving here. They are open seven days a week and have very accommodating hours for a barber shop. There are always 3+ barbers on staff so the wait time is also usually quite low. Every barber also seems to be fluent in both English and Spanish — always a bonus.
If you are a man who enjoys very high quality, consistent and reliable hair cuts, go to Nicks. They don’t take appointments unfortunately, but again, I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes.

After 10 years of patronage, I have never been disappointed with any haircut I have gotten from Nick’s barber shop.

We love Travis! My hubby and son both go to him every few week, and he does a great job. Clean, even sides, prompt service, friendly. Highly recommend him, he is young and knows the new trends and how to do great men’s hair cuts.

Came in to get a hair cut today, they are open on Saturdays and Sunday, great service, quick service didn’t have to wait at all. Gricelda is very friendly and good at her job, definitely coming back next time i need a hair cut. The staff consist of travis, Nick, Grace, and eddy all are really friendly and good at their jobs. Also for all you ladies there’s a salon right next door.

I came in with two other people, male and female, because we needed a maintenance hair trim after a couple weeks at Camp Roberts. The service was prompt and all of us were satisfied with the results. The owner, Nick, is first generation from Italy. He was a child in an Italian town when the Yanks showed up, got to ride on top of a tank, and came here years later for a better life.
