Stephanie was the best server ever. I would highly recommend. Excellent value. Great wine. Friendly servers.

Wine maker is awesome, lots of history, lots tif great info behind all the wines. Plus, every wine is great, definitely a place to go by. And there are couches in the wine room, enough said.

Spice pairing here is trippy and absolutely worth it(especially if they decide to honor the Unilocal check in)! The tasting room is GORGEOUSLY laid out, with Arabian-style cushions and pillows for seating. It’s a tiny place, but there is an outdoor patio that I’m sure gets packed during peak periods. The employees are very kind, and the whole feel of the place is very intimate. The wines are definitely acceptable — the Bestie bought a bottle to go – but what truly sets LXV apart are those spices! So good and so unique :) Definitely a must try!

Loved this place! Great wines and the pairings made it so interesting! We took a «surprise» bottle to go to a restaurant and we were totally happy with it! Will come back for sure! Awesome tasting room and employees!!!

We visited this tasting room on a family trip up to Paso recently. We had kids with us and were a little nervous bringing them in to a grown up tasting room, but turns out that our visit to LXV was perfect. The space is beautiful and luxe yet earthy, with long, cushioned benches to cozy into. Which is great because the hospitality Neeta and Kunal extend to all visitors AND the deliciousness of the wine, will make you want to stay and stay and stay. We enjoyed their tastings with the spice/cheese pairings that everyone raves about, and love how food friendly the wines are. You can tell that the owners have a real passion for wine and happy living and when you visit with them and try/buy their wines, you’ll see firsthand how infectious their spirit is. We are now proud owners of a couple of bottles of our own. Oh, and by the way, the kids had a blast too. What a gem of a place.

Had a great time! :-) Quinn is super cool. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Wine is delicious and spices are a very unique and pleasant addition! A must stop… also right off the freeway is short on time or passing through.

Did a wine tasting here lead by the lovely Quinn. The concept behind this place is really cool– all about creative expression. The wine was delicious– we walked out with two bottles. Love the vibe– couches, pillows and a cozy outdoor space.

Loved it and excited to go back! We participated in the Zoo to You Wine Stroll and visited 12 tasting rooms. This was the one we chose to go back to. Neeta made us feel so welcome and actually provided some new information on wines(which is unusual because we taste alot and seem to hear the same things over and over). The spice paring was fun and eye-opening. I liked every wine I tried. The sitting feels exotic and decadent at the same time, whether inside or outside. No high pressure sales, which was good since their wines lean toward the more expensive. Just means they are for sharing with friends or special occasions. THISIS A MUSTVISITWHENINPASO!

We visited Paso Robles wine region with 2 other couples. We enjoyed 4 days of wine tasting across the region, and in the process discovered a hidden gem in LXV wines. Their tasting room is located right in the heart of the town, and offers a selection of their wines paired with spice laden sheep’s cheese bites. We were amazed with the quality of their red wines, which were full of flavor and offered an outstanding bouquet. These wines were further enhanced when paired with the cheese bites. The added bonus was the fact that the owner, Neeta Mittal, happened to be at the show room during our visit. She is a charming, wine entrepreneur with passion and talent to create outstanding wines. Her knowledge of food pairings is also amazing. We would opt for LXV reds over icons, such as Isosceles from Justin any time. Overall a memorable experience which will keep us coming back to LXV! Quin took us through a truly unique and beautiful experience. We loved the wine and the pairing truly made this the most impressive and interesting experience we have ever had wine tasting. We loved everything. The Umami spice will make you rethink what you know about life.

tremendous vibe in the place. Wines are excellent as well, paired with Neeta’s own Indian spices. She was a great host as was Ben. The lounge area was fantastic to taste her wine as was the outside seating. We felt like special guests and ended up becoming wine members, Super relaxing and great way to spend to spend Saturday afternoon. Give it a visit!

We wandered in here and had a lovely time. It was a great setup with couches. I had never done a spice tasting before but loved it and came home with three bottles and matching spices to try at home. The Grenache, Syrah, tempranillo blend was my personal favorite.

The perfect way to end out day of wine tasting. Its a very relaxed atmosphere lounge. They over spice tasting with the wine which is cheese covered in a variety of spices to compliment each wine. The service was great. Even with the tasting room getting a little crowded everyone was very attentive. We will be back soon!

Loved our visit to LXV during a short stop in Paso Robles on our way home from LA! They are dog-friendly which was awesome since we were traveling with our two pups. We did the spice pairing and it was awesome. The way it works is that it’s cheese that is spiced and paired with the wine you are trying. All of their wine was very good and I thought they had some really unique flavors. The only downside is that their bottles are very pricey($ 50+), but that seemed to be a consistent theme throughout Paso Robles. Definitely worth going for a tasting but buying a bottle had a slightly too steep price tag for me.

This is definitely not your average wine tasting experience, and that’s exactly what we came for. It’s located conveniently in downtown Paso Robles, and when you walk in it feels like you’ve been transplanted to an exotic place. It reminds me a lot of a hookah lounge, except sadly they do not have hookah here. The décor is borrowed from India and Morocco, and I think it’s pretty tastefully done. When we walked in we weren’t really sure what to expect. I had heard about the spice tastings on Unilocal and that was about it. It was a very nice/casual wine bar/tasting room and we were warmly greeted by the girl working there. She was young, but knew her wines well and she was probably my favorite part about visiting this place. She definitely made us feel welcome and she was walking around chatting with everyone else there as if they were all casual friends stopping by for some wine. I thought the wines here were good, but nothing really stood out as favorites to me. The spice tasting definitely enhanced the tasting experience, though! They use tiny cubes of cheese and generously spice them(so you’re not just eating spice with your wine). If you check-in on Unilocal you get a spice tasting for free. Overall, definitely an interesting wine tasting experience — check it out if you’re looking for something different.

Fun place! I love the non traditional feel here. The spice pairings are awesome and oh-so-unique. The décor is to die for and really gives the whole experience that extra oomph.

Had a great time spice pairing with Neeta. Free spice pairing with a check in and $ 10 per tasting. Plus dog friendly, So worth it. We came in on a Sunday around 12pm and brought my dog along. It’s a small area so I’m glad it was empty, it made it a comfortable experience for us and my dog was pretty relaxed. I learned alot from this experience since spice pairing is not very common. A very Indian vibe to this, there are couches to lounge and barstool, along with displays of art from a local artist. Overall would come back if I’m in town! Fun fact: this place is called LXV, which is Roman numeral for 65 because the karma sutra only has 64, and they believe enjoying wine should be #65.

This is by far the most unique(in an awesome way) wine tasting experience I’ve had. You absolutely must try the spice+wine pairing. My boyfriend and I initially chose this place because it is open later than most wineries but what caused us to stay was the warmth from Dorian and Kunal. They are simply some of the friendliest hosts the winery scene in Paso Robles had to offer. Even when a party that was rowdy after visiting several wineries, both Kunal and Dorian kept their cool and maintained their professionalism. Even though it wasn’t the right day they let us try the spice tasting and I’m so happy we did. Kunal(one of the owners) told us that they are likely the only winery in the country to offer such a pairing. Neeta(Kunal’s wife and co-owner who I didn’t get to meet) makes all the top secret spice blends. The spice blend is served on top of a cheese that compliments it and each wine on the tasting menu has its own cheese/spice pairing. The interior is a nice lounge area so you can relax while you go on this journey. I really loved the bright colors and all the pillows. Finally, wine club members get wine, the spice blends, and a cookbook for the spices. When I’m ready to join a wine club this will be the one I join! Thank you, Kunal and Dorian for a great experience!

This place is pricey but where else will you find a spice and wine pairing??? =D The blend of masala is their own recipe! It’s definitely a fun experience. Also, the smoked duck in the bites pairing alone is enough for a try. I don’t normally like smoked things but that duck was so good =d The cupcake that they get from a bakery around the corner is also amazing! I wish they were open during the weekends so that I could purchase some =(Or maybe… have some sold at the shop??? *nudge nudge wink wink* ;D Though, for the last spice pairing, I didn’t care much for the ginger, nutmeg and vanilla combo with the wine. I thought they tasted better seperately.
