The only reason why I am giving this place one star is because I have to. Also, because the farm is pretty. That’s about it. It’s so misleading. I thought it was just 3 dollars to get in. Well I was wrong it’s 3 bucks per ticket and each event is at least 1 – 2 tickets. That ads up with 2 adults and 4 kids. The corn maze was really nice but everything else was less then desirable. They barely had any animals to pet. There’s was no real food. The people running it didn’t seem like the down home welcoming people you usually get at a family farm. To top it off my children picked out there pumpkins which are lined out by the barn. The only ones available are these huge pumpkins. I asked someone how they price them and the lady said they charge a dollar a inch then ad a few pounds for the weight. I was like ok? Never heard of that. So, we went to pay the lady measures away. She also measured the stem as well. Crazy! She says the grand total. $ 65! Call me cheap or old fashioned but I said no thanks that’s way too much for pumpkins. We already dropped $ 40 on corn maze etc… I love to support small local business, but this is crazy. We drove down to Trader joes and purchased 4 regular sized pumpkins and 4 tiny pumpkins for $ 14 dollars and some change. My kids did the math and said. Mom! We saved $ 50. So, now that I got that out. We will never return.

Best pumpkin patch in the county– besides Avila barn of course ;) This place has it all. A lake with a real life swan and huge bull frogs, mini horses, donkeys, sheep and an emu, mini hiking trail that surrounds the lake. A huge garden with every kind of gourd, pumpkin, squash you can think of. A pumpkin chucker, mini battery operated quads for kids to ride, a bounce house, corn maze, gold mine and panning for gold. This is thee spot to go for adventure. We love this place and go every year. It is family operated and run which is what we love. Seriously check this place out. It is like no other pumpkin patch in the county. It takes a good hour to see everything. Have fun and watch out for Mr. skeleton man in the tree.

Great place. We had a lot of fun with the kids. The pumpkin patch is huge with a big selection. Plus they have other attractions like the Lost Dutchman’s Mine, big tree house, hidden skeletons, old wagons, bounce houses, beautiful lake for picnics, donkeys and goats, little ATVs for kids and a pumpkin toss. We spent half a day here and it didn’t cost much. It was only 10 minutes from Paso Robles.

Uh, how did we not know about this GEM?! Loved everything about it, from the beautiful grounds, to the enthusiastic proprietor and the lovely views. Everyone was friendly, it wasn’t jammed packed, and my children loved all the paths and bridges that surround the pond. We paid to do the Lost Dutchman’s Mine(creepy fun, my 5 and 6 year old loved it) and the bounce houses for the kids. We can’t wait to go back with a picnic and a blanket and enjoy the place!
