Prompt Service, Reasonable Portions, Flavorful salsa, nice thin chips, food hot and steaming with melted cheese. Nice. Pork in my chili verde lean and uniformly cubed, flavor of chili verde, not discernible, just bland. Sorry hombres, up the flavor a bit please. Thanks

It wasn’t the best of times, nor was it the worst of times. The free wifi sign hanging from the window actually led me here, since I needed to jam on work and my stomach was beckoning to eat during mid lunch hour. The grilled chicken burrito seemed to have everything going for it, except for the chicken! The burrito was loaded with avocado, beans and rice, but very little chicken itself. Very disproportionate mix in the the wrap. Service was strong and attentive, though the food was middle of the road.

We just ate here tonight for the first time. We are not from this area. When on vacation, my wife and I like to go to restaurants that are more for local people versus touristy type restaurants. «Local places» are typically the type of restaurants that we search out. With Fiesta Grande, I should’ve known better so shame on me this time. I will be super surprised if this place is still in business a year from now. Fiesta Grande is sub par Mexican food. Everything tastes like it came out of a can. Pathetic. We live on the border of San Bernardino and Los Angeles County(Southern California), the Mexican food is a thousand times better in So Cal. A restaurant like Fiesta Grande is a joke to Mexican food and would not survive a month in So Cal. Trust me, you are better off eating a frozen TV dinner!

Solid food… service was a little slow but what should you expect when its one person working… good effort and prices were reasonable… shrimp tacos were good

This is one of those bland and inoffensive Mexican restaurants where you can go with a group of people and walk out full and without any big complaints from anyone. However you’re probably not going to get any raves either. Everything from the service to the chips and salsa to the entrees is middle of the road. It’s like a thousand other places in California.

Our late lunch started with a wine margarita and chips and salsa. If you enjoy zinfandels, pinotnour or white wine, you’ll love Fiesta Grande’s version of a margarita. Went with the combo plates-beef tacos, beef enchilada, and chicken enchilada with chile releno. Rice is fluffy and light, beans tasted home made. The red sauce used on the enchiladas and releno was delicious: full of flavor, and not oily. Also tried their soup of the day-posole, and guacamole. Portions are a bit smaller than most other Mexican restaurants, but more than enough to fill us up. Restaurant was a tad warm and the friendly service made up for it!

A local place for good carne asada tacos. Retried Beans were homemade and delicious. Server was attentive. Overall a good experience.

Second time here. This time was for breakfast this morning. We both had huevos rancheros. BUT, I ordered a carne asada taco ala carte that never came but I was charged for. Still, food was not bad. I did not like how they structure their huevos rancheros plate yet it was still palatable. May try them again. They’ve been here for a while now. I think it’s time to get it together but restaurant menus, cooks and service take time to develop.

It’s hard to screw up enchiladas but Fiesta managed to pull it off. The red chile gravy tasted like something I’d dip a roast in, that I heated up from a can. And the store-bought salsa and the store-bought refried beans are certainly no reprieve from the stale, greasy chips. The staff are pleasant enough but it was really hard to understand our server, who was very quiet and the dining room, awash in cold fluorescent lighting looked like the owner made only a half attempt at a cozy atmosphere. This restaurant may be a good answer to a cheap lunch break but it’s no place to dine for out-of-towners after a long day of driving.

First time eating here last night and it wasn’t anything spectacular. The restaurant was nice,(typical Mexican themed with stuff hanging on walls). Service was ok other than a person in our group asked for his torta without cream and they still put cream on in. The food was ok, didn’t blow me away but wasn’t bad. Would have given four stars if it wasn’t for the mistake on the order.

Went in for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. I had a combo plate of carnitas taco and chile relleno. Very tasty. Husband had a combo of crispy shredded beef taco and beef enchilada. He liked both, but said he’d order the crispy taco and chile relleno next time. We didn’t have beer but they have several on tap. We’ll have one next time.

Atmosphere was cool! Service was good. I had the chicken enchiladas, decent but could have been more flavorful. The guacamole was safe, needed some serranos, tomatoes, etc.

Food was good and that’s probably the most important quality for a restaurant. However, I guess we didn’t get the wonderful server others mentioned. Despite only one other table eating on this Friday night, the server could not answer any questions about drinks or menu items and seemed disinterested. Fajitas served sans advertised guac and sour cream. Regular at Fiesta Grande? We think not…

No thanks… Missed the mark completely. Does help when we get crap bag chip for the first round then homemade for the second basket. Carne asada burrito was lacking carne and tostada was nothing special. Won’t be coming back… sorry 1 burrito + 1 tostada + 3 beers = $ 35

Enchiladas were bland, tacos especially bland just overly spicy. Tea was alright though. None of the meat was seasoned. –_– Oh well, service was quick and polite. I wouldn’t boast about this resturant.

The real deal… Great chips(many have air pockets, the true sign of homemade) and salsa. I had the combo enchiladas and taco which was great. My wife had the Carnitas burrito and said it was very good. Great service and prices were very reasonable.

Beef enchiladas were weak. Looks like they cooked meat and tortilla separate and added a little orange sauce after the fact. Chips and salsa and service still excellent but I must bring food quality rating down

So impressed by this place. I accidentally left my credit card after eating here on my road trip from LA to SF and they were nice enough to mail it back to me! Such a relief not to have to cancel the card. The food is really yummy also. It was a nice and relaxing stop to break up the long drive and Paso is a really cute town to walk around in.
