Stopped here on a recommendation and I’m so glad we did! As others mentioned, the views are phenomenal, the tasting room is gorgeous and there is a variety of excellent wines. There is an outside patio that is perfect to relax and take in the views. My husband and I were on a motorcycle trip and came on a Sunday three weeks ago — we had what I consider the best experience I’ve ever had at a winery. I don’t want to misstate the name of the woman who helped us(my sleep deprived toddler mom brain :/) but she was so incredibly welcoming and kind. This winery is a must for anyone exploring this fantastic area.

Good wines, beautiful views, and the best tasting staff in town. As a local, I have a new standard now to take my out of town guests where I know they will be treated well and have a good time.

Absolutely beautiful tasting room and vineyard. An amazing view over looking the vineyard while enjoying a glass of wine.

Lovely place, lovely views, very kind staff that works there. We cruised on in late and they gladly helped us with some tastings. Finally, a winery that wasn’t solely cabs! Bless you! We were only here briefly, but we had a great experience and I left with some yummy wine. I would recommend that maybe they have some small bites available in the actual tasting room itself. It would just be the cherry on top for me.

We celebrated our 41st anniversary by doing a little local wine tasting. So glad we visited Burbank Ranch. The Wine Room Manager, Morgan is by far one of the best in this area. She is a wine brat, Paso home grown who knows her wine & how to make her customers feel like they are the most important people in the room. She is knowledgable, engaging, friendly & fun loving. She also has some great stories to tell about the history of some of our Paso wineries. Plus, the wine is quite yummy. Awesome experience.

I never when to the downtown tasting room when it was open, but it is now moved to a beautiful site in Templeton on El Pomar Road. You can get the address and details on their website.(5685 El Pomar Drive in Templeton, Ca. — it says Paso Robles, but definitely Templeton) you will see that if you click the tasting room on the top of the site. We went there and it probably has the best views of any winery we have been to including Daou(don’t recommend them) way up on a hill and you have to drive slow up, but when you get there it is worth it. The wines themselves were all excellent starting with the 2013 Arneis(which is the varietal name and I had not heard of it either) an Italian white that was all stainless steel processed for a crisp finish with a hint of apples. We had a super sweet blonde girl pour for us on Sunday afternoon and I am kicking myself because I would like to give her the tribute she deserves for the excellent knowledge of the wines and the great service.
