The store was clean, and presented nicely. The staff interaction however, was strange. Limited greeting, nobody to be found when I needed assistance. When I brought a pillow to the register because I couldn’t find a price listed, I was asked to wait so the clerk could open a roll of quarters and finish her banter(not work related) with another staff member about 30 feet away. Once the clerk’s attention was focused on me, she was polite and helpful.

We do almost all of our household shopping here. The staff is helpful and friendly. The have the most flexible return policy of any store we have ever patronized.

This one is the closer of the two closest to me. They’ve been very friendly and helpful every time I’m in. The store is laid out nicely and prices aren’t bad. I like that they’ll honor coupons regardless of their expiration date, keeps me coming back.

Worst Experience ever! I will not be back! My husband and I went in looking for a pair of earphones. We brought our own shopping bag because we are eco friendly and Paso Robles does not give out plastic bags. I noticed right away that the lady at the register kept staring at us. As we browsed we had one staff member follow us around the entire store. When we went to the register to pay for a pair of expensive wireless earphones, the lady kept stalling and would not ring up our earphones. She kept asking if we had a coupon and while I checked my phone for email coupons I kept seeing her whisper to another staff member. After 5 minutes she started our check out and asked if we took everything out our bag. I told her it only contained my wallet. She then replied«are you sure? Usually I would have asked you to leave your bag up front. May I check inside your bag?» I felt very uncomfortable and showed her all I had was my wallet. She was so suspicious and rude! I was a little offended and wish I would have talked to the manager because I am sure they do not check everyone’s shopping bag.

I just had a bad experience with staff and management. I bought over $ 1,000 in merchandise, many small things, and they just load them up in my shopping cart one item at a time. They didn’t use bags or boxes or anything to organize them. They stacked it up to a heaping pile. I was worried things were going to fall out in the parking lot and break. I asked them if they had any leftover packing boxes or if they could sell me paper bags like grocery stores(thanks to our county ordinance agains plastic bags). They said no. I asked the manager if she would be getting any bags and she said maybe in a month. I could see piles of large paper bags, but they said they were only for wedding items. To the management: If you only want people to come in and buy one thing at a time, keep doing what you are doing. If you want a volume shopper, you will need to have bags available for sale.
