A little sunshine in a little country town. I had the mango curry chicken and it was great. I’d move here if they would promise to make me lunch everyday.

I have been going to Thai Royal for over two years now. When my wife and I first decided to try the food I was very skeptical, mainly due to the fact I had never had Thai food before. The fist meal I ordered was that shrimp Thai noodle. The food was great that day and has gotten even better over time. The owner and her husband do a great job one every dish. My wife loves the fact that the food is made to order with fresh ingredients, and that she decides everything ingredient that goes into her food. The vibe of the restaurant has changed along with the updated menu, and updated renovations. I just can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can sit out on the deck with the sound of the water fall in the background. Over all this place has become a home away from home, and gives me that Cheers home town vibe. Now all I have to do its get people to say my name each time I come in.

Great lil family owned restaurant tucked away in Harrisville. The food is fresh and delicious, CONSISTENTLY. The veggies are fresh, every dish is made to order. I’m so glad Thai Royal brings diversity to small town dining. The owner and his wife are super friendly and their adorable son Devon is quite charming and likes to chat up customers. Try the fiery pad thai or any of their duck dishes. Phenomenal!

We ordered from here tonight — they messed up our order and gave us food we didn’t want, nor will eat. We called so they could make the dinner they messed up & they still charged us full price for the dinner, even though we didn’t want the food they gave us by accident — which means we wasted money on food we have to throw away. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. Can’t promise we’ll be going back.

This place always has good service and good quality food for a decent price. The interior and outdoor patio has been redone in the past year, and I enjoy eating there or taking food to go. Nice local spot in a small town.

We got there at about 12:40, sure we’d get served, because the online menu says they open at 11:30. When we walked in the fellow at the bar said they actually open at 1. By the looks of the place(dirty floors, rags on tables) we figured he had his work cut out for him so we went for a stroll to kill the time. We get back around 1:15 and there’s a woman at the bar. Floors are still filthy and rags are still on tables. We turned and walked out.

What a surprising place. It really doesn’t look like much from the outside(in fact the whole area around this restaurant looks like it has seen better days), but the restaurant was clean, the service friendly, and the food was great. I’m guessing this place primarily does take out business, but there are a few tables inside and there were a decent number of customers the night we visited. I had pork with yellow curry. My friend tried the spicy noodle, and we also shared fried dumplings as an appetizer. And oh yes, the scorpion bowl was quite potent. No complaints.

Some of the best Thai I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot… not just restaurants… I have lived next to an army base growing up and had authentic food prepared by Thai families. Experience it for yourself, don’t let the inevitable random negative reviews and unwarranted personal attacks steer you away…

Mediocre at absolute best and this goes for everything. When Thai Time first opened, the original owners definitely knew what they were doing. Everything was fresh and delicious; staff was very welcoming. This is no longer an accurate way to describe this restaurant. Ownership has changed a few times since they first opened and it’s obvious. The restaurant itself is mostly take-out and the inside can tell you why… Very, very dated décor, chairs and tables are uneven and wobbly and most of the time you’ll be the only people dining in and it’s extremely awkward.(Loud side convos, TVs and a radio on at the same time) The owners have a small child that is at the restaurant very frequently; I have nothing against children but when they’re drooling all over and screaming it’s nearly impossible to order or enjoy yourself. Ever walk by this place in the summer? The smell is just so horrendous that I’ve gagged a few times and don’t even walk on that side of the road anymore. Is it rotting vegetables? Meat? Fish? I don’t know and I don’t want to. I’ve caught a few whiffs of this smell inside, too. With a smell like this, one should question if the food is even safe. If I’m craving Thai, I’ll take a trip to Providence or Thai Place in Webster. Thai Time isn’t even an option anymore. I’ve gotten sick from here numerous times too… it was a large order and every one of us was ill. I’m giving them two stars only because they’ve lasted for this length of time in Pascoag; based solely on food and atmosphere alone: half a star. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

This place was amazing! Good food, great price, unbelievably friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant. The fiery pad thai was delicious. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Can’t wait to try the wings next time!

Although the new owners are renovating, friendly service and great food make this place a hidden gem. Located in a tiny town, Thai Time is a cozy Thai restaurant that will please most Thai food lovers. The food can be made as spicy or mild as you would like and is made fresh following your order. To begin with, you should definitely order the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. The sauce they come with is deliciously garnished with nuts. For the main dish I recommend a curry, preferable seafood curry. Most likely, you will not finish the giant bowl of curry or other large portions, but the owners will kindly bring you some containers. They even make you a fresh broth if you ordered the soup! My only two complaints are the lack of customers, as it makes the experience very awkward, and opening at 3PM on Sundays.

We have eaten there in the past(2 years ago), and the food was delicious. Visiting Thai Time in the last year, and especially in this last visit was a disappointment. Every time I have been there, we are the only customers in the restaurant and it feels awkward. The décor is dated, and both a television and music were playing at the same time. The crab rangoon appetizer was good, but both of the dinners that we ordered were not prepared well. The pineapple fried rice had a very smoky taste(like that of a grill), and the shrimp was undercooked. The Pad Thai was just the worst I have ever had. The person working was very nice, and I just felt too awkward to mention the food, but I know we won’t be going back to this establishment.

Thai time is great. The hot basil chicken(which they call gra prow even though its not minced) is delicious. It came out piping hot with plenty of veggies. The flavor was on point, the portion was on point, and the staff is super nice and on point. I also had the steamed pork dumplings with sweet soy sauce which were very good too. The vibe is very casual/cafeteria-esque. They have beer as well. I discovered this place by searching the area I was in on my iPhone. Its listed as 98 Main street however my GPS required me to choose either 98 North Main or 98 South Main. Neither is correct. For reference its located in the one-way triangle in the town centre.

I really enjoy the Pad Thai and Crab Rangoons. I’m not an expert but as far as craving Asian food in this area Thai Time is the go to. The food is fresh and the price is excellent. I use take out but the restaurant is small but clean and service is always friendly. Highly recommended!

I eat at Thai Time pretty frequently. I’m actually kind of craving it now. It’s a pretty decent joint overall especially for little Pascoag. That being said don’t expect anything too fantastic. Nothing is ever bad but it could definitely be better. The pad see u is good. Fairly flavorful, decent quality meat but never spicy enough. Pad thai is also ok, especially the fiery pad thai. I like the appetizers and the lion city noodles as well. Prices are really reasonable and portions are big. I wouldnt say its anything special but its by far the best option for asian food anywhere near here. It’s probably only deserving of three stars but in the food desert of Pascoag its an easy four and I’m tempted to give it five!

I am not an authority on Thai food. In fact, counting my visit to Thai Time in Pascaog, I have been to exactly one Thai restaurant. Though I must advise that if you are going to visit just one Thai restaurant in a depressed mill village in northwestern RI across from a secondhand store, this would be an exceptional choice. The food was fresh and delicious, and surprisingly inexpensive. What the restaurant lacks in size and ambiance it makes up for in large portions and genuinely friendly service. The sampler platter appetizer was fun, and I’ll give high marks to the surprisingly sweet crab Rangoon and cucumber salad which I usually don’t like anywhere. I also enjoyed the Tom Yum soup — full with big, fresh mushrooms, scallions and shrimp. Not a fan of curry I skipped it, and instead ordered a double-spicy entrée stir-fry special, which was filled with a variety of fresh hand-chopped ingredients and unique flavors. It’s worth the trip.

A gem in the rough! We wanted a quick place for lunch while driving through the area. The staff was welcoming, suggested a table by the window for a waterfall view and turned the tv to a kid safe channel for our little ones. We had fresh spring rolls($ 4.95), spicy pad tahi with shrimp, pad thai with shrimp and pad see u with beef. Everything but the pad thai with shrimp was great. The pad thai wasn’t bad it just was a little over sweet and missing something. Overall a good experience in an unexpected location.

Who would have thought that you could get great Thai in Pascoag? Well, you can! Thanks to Unilocal,I found this hidden gem. We had lots of selections off the menu, but my favorite was the Extra spicy Chicken Pad Thai. It was sooo good. I should have written down the other things that we got for takeout, but they were all good, and large enough for left overs!
