It’s almost been a year, so I should post an annual review update on a popular taco truck in the heart of Pasco. This is more of a note(I’ve already raved about the tasty tack truck cuisine at this truck) in my other reviews. This taco truck is open 24⁄7! Yup yup! I was working the graveyard shifts this particular week, and the previous night I actually went to Taco Bell(yes, I deserve hand slaps). So, the next night, I drove the extra 15 min over to Pasco. It was 11:20pm, but I knew this truck had to be open… and it was! I had a torta and two tacos… ummmmmm…muy excellente! I ordered, was given food, and was on the road to work within 8min! Yup, La Differencia is the bomb.

We were down in Pasco to go to the farmers market and wow do we have a «little mexico» right here in the Tri-Cities or what and I’m glad that we do. What a cool town. Other than the people at the farmers market I think we were the only non-Latinos I saw. We decided to have the full Pascamexican experience so we listened to Salsa and Reggaeton on Pandora and stopped at this taco truck for lunch. Honestly, I was a little scared at first. The place is decidedly dirty on the outside and it’s nestled in a kind of chintzy part of town but we decided to buck up and go for it and we were richly rewarded. As I speak spanish at what I like to call«the Dora level» and the woman who took my order spoke English at a similar level there was some difficulty in communicating what we wanted. My wife wanted to ensure that her beef was shredded and not ground and didn’t know how to say that, and the kids wanted a burrito with nothing but meat. Wife got a shredded beef taco, kids got a burrito with everything. 1 for 2 isn’t bad right? All the food was excellent; tacos, burrito, and torta, but I liked the torta and taco the best. The food probably rates a 5. It’s really good and I can tell I that I’m not the only one who thinks that because while we were there quite a few locals full of local flair(can you say goats tied in the back of the pickup and salsa music blaring) pulled up and ordered as well. I would love to give the place as a whole a 5, but for my preference it was a little too dirty, and the language barrier was a little too much so a 4 it is.
