Hibachi Buffet

Probably the first place that’s had good reviews that I actually can concur. This buffet is REALLY good. The inside is nicely done and there’s a fountain in the entrance. At the register are items you can purchase. But the crown jewel is the food. Hot, fresh and of varying selection. There’s a sushi bar (which I didn’t try because I don’t like sushi) but it’s clean and it looks pretty. The hibachi grill is next to it. My food was cooked perfectly and had decent flavor. Tasted very fresh. They have the typical Chinese buffet items and all were available. They replaced what ran out rather quickly. In front of the sushi bar is a small freezer with different ice cream flavors and a bottle of Hershey’s syrup for topping. My favorite is the almond cookies and I was elated to see those. They’re hard to find apparently. Also, the hot mustard is on the buffet bar and not in packets, which I prefer so that was great. Overall, this place was beyond my expectations. There was only one item that was a disappointment and that was the crawfish. WAY over boiled and had a strong flavor reminiscent of a lot of lemon and saffron. Since I don’t go to a Chinese restaurant specifically for crawfish, that really had no bearing on my decision of 4 stars. Try the little guava candies on your way out. They’re good. 4.5 stars but that’s not an option.

Better than most Chinese buffets with a good variety including sushi & American fare. Very clean with plenty of seating and the serving staff is very nice and attentive… please tip them, even though it IS a buffet, even a couple bucks is nice!

Good food, good atmosphere, clean environment, positive attitude attendants, yea! That’s a meal I enjoyed while visiting this place. I will definitely come back given an opportunity.

Every time I go here the food is mediocre and the service is about the same. It’s not horrible, but definitely nothing worth writing home about. It’s not too expensive so you can’t be disappointed. The sushi is not great and has limited selection, so if that’s why your going… Don’t. I will say this the early hours are better son if you plan on getting anything edible or even good I would go before 6 or 7 pm

I came down to Mississippi for work and happened to find the Hibachi Buffet on Unilocal and had to try it out! Boy am I glad I did. The food was soooo good and so fresh with such an awesome variety. Any kind of seafood you could think of was there. I enjoyed the crab legs, sushi, crawfish (Which I tried for the first time) and everything else I ate LOL. Oh and of course a Sapporo!
They also offered Mussels, shrimp, frog legs (why not?) — I didn’t try them but have had them before. :) Hands down my favorite dish was the SUSHI! They had so many different rolls to choose from that were served with wasabi, spicy mayo — yum, and soy sauce. Each one was fresh and the rice was cooked just right. If I lived in Pascagoula I would come here at least once a week. A true buffet GEM.

I’ve been trying nearly every Chinese buffet in this area & have yet to find one even close to this place. Most of the others have been pretty dismal, but this place had a decent selection & relaxed atmosphere, but still very clean & well kept. I’d definitely recommend it.

Sushi was all your basics. Nothing to really get excited over as a sushi lover. It’s like something u would introduce to someone who never did sushi. The buffet food looked old alot of dry bins. Unsatisfied. I want to say that I went up for seconds and there was a roach crawling across the sushi bar so disgusted I almost puked on it. HORRIBLE PLACE

Best buffet in Pascagoula. Good selections of items. Good sushi. Loved the coconut shrimp. Service was little slow (refill water, drinks etc.)

This is probably the best Chinese buffet I have ever had. The place is packed, the food is super fresh, Mongolian BBQ is great! Nice find here in Pascagoula!
