January 23th, 4:45pm. Manager(fat girl) took order at the cashier with attitude. Like seriously that time wasn’t busy at all. She act like we bother her or something. Not even say«Hi». I ordered tilapia then she murmured something not even sure that she asking me or not. Then she asked me with attitude«LEMONORTERIYAKI?!!» ya like now she can say it louder! Is it necessary? Terrible service!!!

This is a new yoshinoya opened right next to Daiso! I’m a fan of yoshi and have been ever since I was little. They’re food is always great, I love the rice! You only love yoshi, and you love MUSHYRICE! What makes an ordinary yoshinoya place deserving of 5 stars? This place is BIG, tons of seating, self serve soda fountain, and sauces! They are also VERYVERYCLEAN. & I think that’s most important and fast food restaurants. You just assume that it will be musky, and dirty. but this location isn’t!

I don’t know how to start my comment. I have always liked yoshinoya and I have gone to this yoshinoya site here on colorado for a long time, and I always see bums in this parking lot, more specifically by where yoshinoya is. The difference is that today I saw one of these bums asking for money outside, then one went INSIDE the restaurant and went straight to the soda machine and got some soda or water or whatever. The point is that I have no problem in helping anybody, but there is just something wrong in this. I am not sure what the deal is and I am not sure how to feel about bums going into the restaurant to grab soda, ice, or whatever, but I just feel there is something not right. In fact, I am kind of tired to see that little spot where yoshinoya is located, all dirty and stuff, and it looks like is getting WORSE. The food is even starting to taste bad. I think I will simply start looking for a yoshinoya at a different location.

Had the large combo. The meat had way too much fat! I almost gagged, but I stayed strong and finished the food. This location was not as good as others. Next time I will drive a little farther when I crave yoshinoya!

This is not the same as other locations, there is something about the teriyaki chicken that doesn’t taste like yoshinoya. I was. Expecting the long stripes of chicken thigh, but instead got cut up chicken balls, the teriyaki didntveven taste the same as 3 other locations that I tried. Is this a fake yoshinoya?

Like their food but the general manager Karla was not friendly! Not even a hello came out of her mouth! Their machine was not working so it rejected my card. The poor cashier was struggling with the long line waiting and trying to make it work. He called the general manager and though it was refund etc etc… She cane, took my card, didnt even look up, and took like 5 to make the stupid machine work. She finishes and says«Here» POORCUSTOMERSERVICE on her part!

So my brother from another mother have this weird obsession with Yoshinoya, an obsession that most of our friends think is weird. I totally understand this because in my head, i know Yoshinoya is gross but in my heart, I’m in love with this fast food«Japanese» chain. Any and every time I go to Yoshinoya, I order a beef-chicken combo bowl and smother it with red pepper and ginger. Eating this puts me in an awesome mood. Unfortunately my local Yoshinoya doesn’t taste the same as every other Yoshinoya I’ve ever eaten at. I don’t know what it is, but the flavor is just off here. This is very annoying because this Yoshinoya is so close to my place! Another strike against this location is the parking. Yoshinoya doesn’t seem to get that busy but their parking is always full!

Fast food chains are difficult to rate. You should already know what you’re getting yourself into. But honestly, I wasn’t expecting this. They gave me my chicken bowel on a tray that had so much gunk on it. There was left over food on it that didn’t belong to my meal. I was so caught off guard. The chicken was just slapped onto the rice, as if they were in a hurry to clock out on my order. I love Yoshinoya, and I’ve had better experiences in other places. This location manages to stay dirty for most of the day. But like always, I know what I’m getting myself into, and I still choose to eat here.

Standard yoshinoya. Found the portions to be a bit better than their location on Rosemead, but the flavor and presentation wasn’t as good. Also everything could be wiped down(a lot of stuff in the restaurant were sticky, condiments and such)

Pretty good if you have the«buy 1 get 1 free» coupons they send in the mail. Otherwise it’s a bit pricey for the portions they give you. The menu is simple, which is good — a modest selection of rice bowls with chicken, beef and tilapia fish. They have a peripheral menu of odd items that don’t seem to belong there(e.g. Clam chowder). The only thing that’s truly annoying is they ask for your name with each order. For a place like this, an order number seems more appropriate.

Staffing needs training. This locations food taste terrible. I asked for extra beef juice and they completely drenched the rice. This was the second time. First time I let it go…, but twice… no ah… please teach them to use their heads and please improve the quality of this location.

Im definitely a big fan of japanese food, especially teriyaki foods. I love their sauce and the way they cook their meat. It melts in your mouth. Eat bit is savory and has lots of flavor. None of the food are hard to chew. The service here is pretty good. I did not have any issues with getting my food. It was piping hot and ready within 5 minutes of waitng. I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving food.

Haven’t had Yoshinoya’s in a while so decided to pick some up for lunch. This location is pretty well kept considering it is probably always bombarded with college students from PCC. Usually get their Beef Bowl with vegetables. They serve generous portions with their dishes. Service was pretty good here considering it was a fast food place. Workers seem to clean the tables a lot which is good to see. Don’t like the limited parking out in front. I was lucky enough to find someone leaving when I drove in. Also, like stopping by the boba place next door.

I’m a Yo fan going back maybe close to 20 years, and have eaten in many. This one is about average in terms of restaurant quality, food quality and service. However, there are some downsides to this particular restaurant: 1) The location is across the street from a college which means at times it get some questionable student traffic. Last time I went in there was a kid leaning against the entrance playing on his phone with beats headphones and newish shoes asking me for money to buy food. 2) It’s in the corner of this small center, and more than once every parking spot has been full. 3) At peak times it can be tough to even get in and out of the lot, however on weekends for instance there is little issue. The restaurant has plenty of tables for a Yoshinoya but honestly everything in the place seems to suffer from«this needs to be cleaned» syndrome, including the drink fountain which is just odd. To be clear, it’s not dirty, it just isn’t cleaned enough. Part of my order is usually a little complicated and they’ve always gotten it right, the only part of service that has been lacking is one time the counter guy didn’t ever call my name and my food was sitting on the counter for a few minutes until I asked about it. 3⁄5

Worst service. I usually come to this location but have never been this bad. Telling me chicken wings were frozen after waiting for 15 minutes? This is dumb. No apology. And told me to wait extra 15 minutes if I «still want it». Elba as shift manager? Really? She doesn’t even know how to talk to a customer. Elba? No one else is looking for a job but her? Asked for corporate number. They didn’t know. 24EXTRA minutes later. Still no wings. You gotta be kidding me. Hiring manager. These are the people you hired. Really?

The 5 star rating is not being given for the food quality because yoshinoya is great wherever you are. This rating is being given for the incredible customer service that was provided by Rocio. Not only was she funny, upbeat and entertaining just while taking my order! … she was also courteous during the meal as well as when people were walking out, making sure she thanked them for coming in and wishing them a great day. If all places had employees like Rocio, im sure there would be many less complaints.

5 star is for the healthy fish combo I ordered service was good as well. the staff very professional. The food like I said very healthy and what can I say the fact that it’s next door to PCC you would think that this place would be bad but it’s the opposite. very clean and managed correctly. I will go back here again if I am in the area.

I hadn’t had Yoshinoya in a while and needed a place to eat while getting my oil-change done. It was a really convenient location across the street from PCC. The table and general area was really clean, which is impressive for any fast food place. I honestly was bleh about the service because the cashier was more interested in talking to his friends who had come to visit him(I’m guessing because they were talking for some time before he took my order). In any case, he redeemed himself when he came by to clean my table and ask about the food. In my book, that’s above and beyond for any fast food restaurant.

Does my memory fail me or did Yoshinoya used to be much better? I used to like to get the beef bowl, and douse it with Japanese chili pepper and pickled ginger. Now that they post the calorie counts, I thought I would try a new, healthier option: grilled fish plate served with steamed white rice, cole slaw or vegetables, and ponzu or teriyaki sauce. * Grilled fish plate($ 5.59): The teriyaki sauce was served on the side. The sauce wasn’t too sweet or salty. The fish filet(tilapia) was tender but tasted like old oil. Adding teriyaki sauce, pickled ginger and chili pepper to mask the weird, unpleasant flavors helped. The vegetables in a pool of liquid(carrots, cabbage, broccoli) were mushy and seemed boiled. They had an unpleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. The portion was generous, with lots of steamed white rice. I liked the sauce, condiments and rice. The veggies are awful. Mr. Fro-yo chose the small beef/gyudon bowl and it looked smaller with less beef. He said it didn’t taste that different from the last time he had it many years ago(fatty thin slices of beef, sweet onions) but it was smaller. The beef slices were quite large. The rice tastes better than the average rice bowl/teriyaki place because the juices from the beef and onion soak into the rice. Yoshinoya still has the chicken teriyaki, beef and combo bowls. The Yaki Udon bowls are new(stir fried udon) with high calorie counts. They also carry various cheesecakes and flan for dessert. The condiment station still carries pickled ginger and Japanese chili pepper. Skip the veggies when you order. The beef bowl is probably the only thing worth getting, so I’m inclined to rate Yoshinoya as a 2 but I have a long-standing affection for their beef bowls. The location is fairly spacious and has a fast food look and feel. They have a security camera film the action and yet they don’t want patrons to take pictures inside the restaurant.
