Got catering from there for a shoot for a film and EVERYTHING was awesome! I don’t even think it’s was Greek food it was this nice bourbon glazed chicken ! Mash potatoes with gravy ! AMAZING corn bread and freshly steamed broccoli! Absolutely amazing! Very impressed! The chicken no doubt was my favorite! I do food reviews on YouTube and I wish I did a review on this place cause I’m not a huge fan of Greek cuisine but dang that chicken was awesome! Only thing I wasn’t expecting was the beans tasted like salsa ! Strange ! Baked beans are my favorite! Also check out my reviews on YouTube ! «Liams lunchbox» is the name! Be sure to subscribe! :)

A great stop for a quick lunch. I’m a big fan of their chicken sandwich. Food is always fresh and taste is consistent. We placed a phone order and it was ready within 10 minutes. Would be coming here in the near future. Thank you.

Just walked in here for the first time in my life and had a fantastic sandwich! The customer service was great and by the way that the lady behind the counter took my order and made my sandwich, I could tell that she genuinely cared about the quality. What a great shop. I’ll be back for sure!

First time customer, now lifelong customer! Vartan catered our last dinner party(12 people) a few weeks ago and I could not have been happier w everything!!! Delicious, delicious, delicious! He made us these amazing crab stuffed(jumbo) shrimp, wrapped in bacon as our appetizer — let me tell you they were a huge hit! For dinner we had an array of dishes: BBQ chicken, mac n cheese, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy, beans, corn bread which folks couldn’t get enough of and of course salad! Everything was cooked, seasoned and marinated to perfection!!!(Soul Food themed). Thank you Vartan we truly enjoyed your food and look fwd to ordering from you again! Also the customer service was impeccable, friendly and right on time w delivery!!! Try catering your next event w Torinos you will not regret it!!!

Long overdue review but better late than never. We are psyched to have found this place. My wife and I heard from neighbors/friends that there’s a great sandwich place down the road that makes sujok and tongue sandwiches. Having lived on Washington for over a year driving back and forth we had spotted it but never decided to try it. Being from Aleppo, we crave this stuff like no other, and at the same time we’re always skeptical about ethnic food here matching the quality and finesse we are used to. Well it turns out we were wrong. The sandwiches here are delicious. The sujok, with perfect balance of spices, and tongues are made with the right kind of toasted bread. The chicken shawerma, I can honestly say is one the best I’ve tried in the U.S. And I’ve lived in Michigan(with the biggest Arab population) for 11 years, and Vegas for 2. Maral is so sweet. It turns out she is originally from Aleppo. I guess it’s no coincidence. Thanks for having this place. We can always satisfy that craving.

Simply the best beef kabob sandwich I’ve ever had, I can’t wait to go back… The meat was tender and the sandwich was just right, packed with flavor but not salty at all. My only regret is that I didn’t try this place sooner.

New management means new food, better deals! One of the best Philly cheese steaks on this side of the Mississippi! Plenty of 5 dollar Mediterranean sandwiches to choose from as well as full lunch plates. Once you try this place, you’ll never go to subway again.

I Got the falafel plate, it was a relatively big portion made fresh to order. I have to say it was pretty good and it was not over priced like most mediterranean restaurants. I will be back.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. I work at a Toyota dealership in the area and this is our go-to grub spot. Large portions and fresh ingredients.always. I never have to wait long after we place an order. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu, but I highly suggest you try their garlic chicken sandwich. The staff are very warm, friendly and accommodating. What more can I say? Torinos is the place to go if you are ever in the area!

After reading some of the reviews in here I started wondering why the negative reviews !! and than it hit me like a truck, this is a place where they have NOT modified the taste of their food to accommodate the taste of the international people, they serve authentic middle eastern /Armenian food. I know first hand because I am Armenian, I live far now, BUT every time I go to Pasadena I have to eat a sandwich from Torinos. keep up the work, I love your sandwiches, THX guys.

I’m sad to give 2 stars to a Armenian family restaurant but my experience warrants it. Service was ok, and I was really excited for some fresh chicken shawarma. What I got was dry, cold, and barely edible; a shame. Fries were mediocre, but the side salad was very good. I hope they don’t give others shawarma that was old and needed to be thrown out.

This restaurant took me back to Lebanon. It’s really hard to find authentic Lebanese food in Los Angeles but this little hidden gem in Pasadena has some of the best middle eastern food I have ever had. In addition to the food being amazing the prices were very affordable and portions generous. I highly recommend the shawarma sandwich and bacon wrapped shrimp plate. Customer service was also great the owner was very courteous and polite. Must try it out!

New owner. Best salad I’ve ever had. The new owner means business. He was a former caterer for the Clippers and Dodgers. Chicken Shawarma plate was super fresh and delicious. Will be back!

I am a neighbor of Torino’s. I have lived near by for close to 20 yrs but only noticed this little spot when told by coworkers. I thought it looked like a cute«hole in the wall» and since I am off for vacation this week, I ventured in for quick sandwich today…
I walked in and no one was there except a nice young girl at the register and a nice looking woman in the kitchen. I ordered quickly… just wanted a simple Italian wrap sandwich to go to keep it simple. I placed the order, paid and the woman/cook in the back smiled and asked if I wanted mayo and mustard… I said«sure».
I sit down and wait…10 minutes goes by and a short middle eastern looking man walks in. He goes straight to the Kitchen and I hear giggling and conversation in a foreign language. The guy eventually stands back where I am… and 10 more minutes goes by. The lady starts making something in the back… and turns out she makes his order and gives it to him, just as another guy, middle eastern looking, upper middle age walks in… the SAME thing happens… at least 10 more minutes goes by, he takes his order and leaves!
Meanwhile… I wait… it’s been like 25 –30 minutes by now! I came here for a fast cold take-out sandwich is all! lol The younger girl and lady in the back(maybe her Mom?) continue to talk and chuckle in a foreign language and I continue to wait. The younger girl seemed to be getting uncomfortable and kept looking back in the kitchen, then at me, nervously. I am thinking… MYLORD… this must be one HELL of an Italian sandwich I have coming cuz I have been bumped twice and still waiting! I just read another review on here that experienced the same treatment!
Finally… my bag comes from the back. The lady nervously throws in a napkin and without looking me in the eye, grabs a Pepsi from the fridge and throws it in the bag mumbling something about the drink is on the house for waiting.
O. K…so I get the sandwich home and unwrap what proves to be the most un flavorful and soggy Italian wrap I have EVER had. meat is thin… store bought looking. REAL disappointment! Plus… I guarantee I was made to wait while the lady made those other sandwiches for her«favorites» that came by. Really surprised me! I am Italian… a big fan of Claro’s and other long time deli’s in the San Gabriel Valley. I wasn’t expecting this place to rate as high as Claro’s but this experience left me really annoyed. I felt I was pushed aside for more important patrons. I won’t divulge the organization I work for, but I guarantee my negative rating on this place will be passed on to a very large number of ears that will cost this place future business. I also plan to use this in a conference I am speaking at shortly that will certainly make impact. My review is mostly about principal and this place’s lack of respect outside of those favored. When a customer shows up… no matter their heritage or age… FIRSTCOMEFIRSTSERVEGUYS!!! IT’S NOTONLYJUSTFAIR… IT’S THEAMERICANWAY!!!

I wrote a review back in October of this place that I felt very strongly about and I feel I was very honest in writing about my experience with there food but now I am being harassed by the owner/manager! He has written to me a couple of times and in one of those times he has said that my $ 8 didn’t make him a millionaire and that giving it back would not make him poor! I’m feeling harassed and badgered all because I wrote a review! Is it not what Unilocal is all about? Writing a review that is «your opinion«of the place! What ever happen to freedom of speech!

Aw, this is a sweet place. I felt like I was back in Greece or something. The owners are SUPERNICE and accommodating. I felt bad I hadn’t tried it before, because I thought it was a car parts place. When I mentioned this, the owner looked rueful and said the previous owner was a car aficianado. Every sandwich is made fresh, by the owners, so that is great. My friend got the Philly Cheese Steak; he said it was«bomb». Didn’t look like any Philly Cheese Steak I’ve ever seen, authentic it’s not – delicious it is. The sandwiches here are pressed in a panini maker, so they are crispy and tasty. Another friend got the soujouk, which she loved. The third friend, I don’t remember, but they all shared a big falafel plate and LOVED it. I’m picky about falafel. I wouldn’t say theirs is as good as my friends at Cedars of Lebanon in Seattle, but it was WAY better than Zankou and many of the other places around here. The spices are way closer to the Lebanese than the Armenian that predominates in this area. They’re very light and not greasy, and the tahini sauce is good too. I would definitely get them again. I got a chicken salad with kabob style chicken, it was good if standard. Go to Torino’s! They need the customers! They will treat you well.
