TOGO’S Sandwiches

The best Togos that I’ve been to. Warm staff, fresh ingredients and no corners cut (like you’ll see at some togos — Burbank for example).
Great, Unilocal check-​in deal also!

I got to say i had a very nice fresh wrap the owner is a very nice and really does everything in her power to make you a happy camper :), Next time im in town ill stop by.

I don’t know what happened to my last post, Unilocal does some tricky things. But this is a great institution with quality service and food! The store is always very clean and all the employees greet you as you walk in! A great sandwich place overall!

It’s hard to do a review on their numerous sandwiches, but I’ve never gotten a bad one from here. You can tell everything here is made fresh.
I’m mainly writing this to review their service.
I come by here at least weekly to pick up sandwiches for my boss and within that short time I’m here, I end up having a great time talking to their employees. Their manager here is a sweet older man who always welcomes you with a smile on his face. He makes sure your sandwich is made as best and quickly as possible! The other workers are always happy to ask about your day and just make time to chat with you. You don’t really get that at Subways!
I’ll be happy to come back here within the week!

My review only is about the Daily Special, not about the atmosphere or the service. In the past the special was just the sandwich for a specific price — eventually it went to a sandwich special where a drink must be purchased as well. The special is not that bad, I have gone to a few locations for the Saturday Turkey Sandwich Special, the only sandwich which I like. The only issue I have is I take public transportation, which unfortunately does not allow drinks to be carried aboard a bus. Most locations have worked with me and offered Chips instead of a drink. This location on Green Street does not make exceptions, where a franchise has that right, and is quite understandable. On November 28^th 2015, I went to purchase the Daily Special again, this time I was talking to a lady, that stated she is the owner of the Franchise on Green Street. I explained the situation that I always like getting the Daily Special, but taking public transportation I would rather, get chips instead of a drink, getting a drink will than require me to walk the almost 3 miles home, since I can not take the drink on the bus. She stated that she is the owner and it is her decision, to not allow any exceptions, which of course is her right. She also explained to me that chips are 40 percent more expensive, which did not make since to me — looking at the Daily Special, I can also had chips to the Sandwich /​Drink Special for $ 1.00 more. Looking also at the menu — drinks are priced at $ 1.75 and chips at $ 1.50, so do not quite understand the additional 40 percent comment. As a customer, I am just quite disappointed that the Customer Service aspect is not there when comes to offering the Daily Special, knowing there may be certain restrictions for a customer. Lastly, I am disappointed that all TOGO’s locations have went from the Fresh Turkey that was offered in the past to now Turkey Slices, the taste is not the same.

I’ve been working in the area and been taking lunch here several times a week. I’ve tried several sandwiches and they all have tasted great, I recommend the potatoe soup, it goes great with a 6inch on Parmesan bread. The service has been great every time and whoever maintenance on the a/​c knows what there doing cause it’s always cool inside especially with the ugly humid weather we’ve been having lately. I will continue coming here as long as I’m working in the area

This is the best togos I have visited so far. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. Staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back often since I just moved to the area.

It was my first time ever going to a Togo’s. I’ve always seen em. just never decided to try them until just recently.
They’re located on Green st. so parking is a bit inconvenient. Not that big of a deal, though. Inside was warm and toasty, and had the smell of chili going on. I was hungry. lol
Customer service was great! Every single employee greeted my bf and I and had a smile on their faces. It’s a little weird that the counter where you order is kind of high. I had to go on my tippy toes to see what condiments or additional veggies and stuff they had. I’m 5’9.so for me to go on my tippy toes to look over the counter is a little ridiculous lol.
ANYWAYS.I ordered the:
THE CLUBHOUSE
Applewood smoked bacon, slow roasted turkey, cheddar cheese and fat free honey Dijon on San Francisco Style Sourdough. Toasty.
–YUMMY. Crunchy sourdough bread, juicy turkey, crunchy bacon, tasty cheese, very flavorful! Definitely a go-​to for me. I at first thought the size was small, but I was super full by the time I finished it. I got a large. I’m just a fatty is all.
Bf ordered the:
SIGNATURE PASTRAMI
Over ¼ pound of hot beef pastrami.
–When I told him that I wanted to go to Togo’s, he wasn’t really thrilled about it. Said he had it a couple of times when he was younger & didn’t enjoy any of the sammiches. Well, he reallly liked the pastrami! So there’s that.
All in all, I would definitely go again.

I purchased my sandwich and informed that I wanted bacon and extra cheese. I didn’t get niether of them but I was charged for it. All well I guess they have to save money somewhere. It’s a shame that the sandwich is all bread and very little meat. There are other alternatives around my office that are better tasting.

Abel at Togos is always the guy who helps me out! He is a pretty efficient sandwich wrap artist! I stop by here almost once a week because it’s so close to my office. I give Abel an A+ and would like to say thank you for taking your time with my annoying selections…

Best service of any Pasadena sandwich shop. Will definitely be coming back. Two Tvs tuned to sports on Sunday so you won’t miss your game.

Great sandwiches reasonably priced with very fast service. If you are in a hurry and want a good tasting sandwich, Togo’s will take care of you under 5 min, even during lunch hour (has been my experience thus far).

This location is pretty good! During lunch time, there weren’t a lot of people so I was able to order quickly and get back to the office. The lunch specials are pretty well priced – $ 5.99 for a sandwich, drink, and bag of chips. Service was friendly and fast.
I would definitely come here again to pick up lunch.

As far as sandwich shops go, Togo’s is great, especially this one. I go in one or two times a week and the staff remembers me, remembers how I like my sandwiches, and they’re always incredibly friendly. With their daily deals, you’re basically paying what you’d pay at a lesser sandwich shop for just a sandwich and you get a 6″ sub, a drink, and chips.
Also: It’s not like everywhere else where you see one picture on the menu and get handed something else. These sandwiches are piled high with meat and they don’t skimp on anything. Their only downside? They charge extra for cheese. Other than that? Fantastic sandwiches.

My wife and I recently catered our baby shower here, Abel the store manager did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend them and will use their great service again!

The Veggie Wrap description– Visit the Mediterranean with our tasty spinach wrap filled with hummus, roasted red peppers, feta cheese, red onions, shredded lettuce & balsamic vinaigrette.
The Veggie Wrap reality– Visit the dumpster with our IDGAF about a Veggie wrap. Oh you asked for a spinach wrap? Well we are gonna give you a wheat wrap with a random dispersement of hummus, 2 roasted peppers, a single crumble of feta, CHUNKS of red onions and more wilted soggy ice berg lettuce than your mind can fathom.

It was literally wilted lettuce wrapped with load of vinaigrette.

My experience with this Togo’s has been nothing but stellar. The owner is very hands-​on and always makes sure to provide us with excellent quality food and service. The sandwiches are super tastey and unlike any other Togo’s that I know of, they deliver to the Caltech campus!
Our entire department as well as many others love this Togo’s!

Not the most delicious sandwiches, but you can’t really go wrong with them either. Ate here every single work-​day for like two months straight when they first opened, so I ended up getting pretty sick of it after a while. But it’s super convenient without being nasty like Subway. When the workers knew what cheeses I liked on which sandwiches and had an eerie ability to predict whether I would eat there or take it to go, I knew I had a TOGO’s problem and had to dial it back a bit.

so i grew up on Togo’s sandwiches. I feel like they’re better than subway. Plus the avocado and cheese on wheat is my favorite sandwich ever. We have plenty of sandwich places in the area, but sometimes you get tired of all the same shit every day. Togo’s is a little pricier than the other places. a regular avocado and cheese with a bag of chips is a little over 7 bucks. not bad for the quality and how much food they put into the sandwich. well worth it!
