I love their breakfast options, I’m not much of a morning person so breakfast at noon is where it’s at for me. The grilled cheese with an egg, or bagel and lox, so delicious. It’s the perfect blend of foodie and home-​made fare.

We got 3 carnitas tacos for $ 10 at the Pasadena Farmer’s Market. They filled the entire taco, not just the center. The staff was friendly and I got a free vegan cookie for checking in on Unilocal

They have Good carnitas tacos with not so much oil and good salsa. I didn’t give them five stars because the prices are a tad high $ 4 for one taco but definitely good quality.

Are you freaking kidding me !! This is one of my top three BEST pork sandwiches I have ever had. The pork is juicy, flavorful and shredded just right. The bread was perfectly toasted and the mixture of apples, cheese, arugula, sautéed onions and slight slivers of ginger made my taste buds quiver! A must try… The service was on point they where all so friendly and efficient. I also heard they do catering for all types of events. I will absolutely be calling The Walrus and Hedgehog for my next gathering.

Went here on the weekly trip to the holly street farmer’s market. Got the pulled pork sliders. 3 for $ 10. They were very tasty and the staff is very nice. My fiancé and I agree it is worthy of 5 stars. We’ll be back.

Tried out food from The Walrus and the Hedgehog at the CICLAVIA farmer’s market on Saturday. The food looked like a good compromise between healthy (what I needed) and savory (what I wanted). Ordered the stir-​fry burrito. Loved the perfect blend of rice, veggies stir-​fried in a ginger sauce, and the tortilla. Boyfriend ordered the torta and it was filling and delicious.
Next time I’ll order the grilled cheese, it looked delicious.

The Walrus and Hedgehog’s grilled pepper steak Farmers Market offering (with jalapeños «a jus» poured on) is a finger licking challenge of maintaining this sandwich’s structural integrity while savoring the sloppy deliciousness of its meat, cheese and cole slaw combination. Whether you meet the challenge or the sandwich becomes finger food, you win. Reward yourself with a chocolate chip cookie. It’s a winner as well.
