DONTDONATEANYTHINGHERE unless you want to be screamed at by the unstable employees. If you have beds or appliances, they WILLNOT take them, even if the person you talk to on the phone says they will and their website says they will. The guy at the donation center gave me nothing but attitude rolling his eyes and yelling at me, acting like he was doing me a favor by taking anything at all. There’s also a ton of tattooed gang banger crackheads lurking around. Just sell anything you have on Craigslist, you are not doing a good deed by donating things here.

This Salvation Army thrift store is right across a Goodwill store and is hidden in Pasadena. I personally didn’t favor how they priced their items. Since it is a consignment store I was expecting better deals, but I was wrong. Although I don’t like the prices, they do have a furniture section in the back. If you like looking for furniture this thrift store isn’t so bad, but I don’t recommend shopping here for clothes.

Love this thrift store. I always find something cool to add to my collection here. Prices are good too. Also the employees are extremely nice and friendly. Jennifer who I believe is the manager does a great job at this location. I have been to other Salvation Army stores around Los Angeles and none of them compare to this store and I certainly do not get hello’s and welcome to our store at other locations like this one. I probably go here once a week looking for collectibles and generally find something to buy every time. The other thing I love is have a little dachshund that I take everywhere as my service dog and not only do they greet me and wife but our little dog Bruno every time! You put together a winning team with ithis group of employees and this store. from a scale of 1 to 10YOUGET A 10 Pasadena SA Best Regards, David.

A day of thrift shopping in Pasadena is one of my favorite pastimes. This Salvation Army has been at The core of the process. In years past this Salvation Army was not to be beat, old antique books, antique furniture lost treasures that were sold for just a few dollars. Sadly professional antique dealers and store owners have found this place which makes it a little bit more difficult to be the first to find these secondhand treasures, but it is not impossible. I try to plan my visits on the 50% off days usually the last weekend in the month. While you are in the neighborhood walk across the street to the Goodwill It too has amazing deals.

I came in here expecting great bargains but prices were almost the same as retail. You can probably spend a little more elsewhere and buy new. Furniture here is UGLY and will definitely cost an arm and a leg. They’ll occasionally have a few gems at a reasonable price. All in all, you’re better off going to a swap meet, Craigslist, or even Walmart if you’re looking for a deal.

I love the Salvation Army and my family’s been donating old possessions and money to them for as long as I’ve been born. For the first time, I was able to go to one of their retailers and go through some of the valuables other people have donated! It was a fun experience. I’m a huge cooking fanatic, so I was happy to see ramekins and cookie jars being sold there for so cheap. I also collect a lot of books, and was able to snag a large number of them for a few bucks. This will definitely hold me over for a few months. Support your local Salvation Army!

I have been frequenting this store especially on Fridays and Saturdays wherein they have the 40% or 50% off. Most of the time I got good deals, a few times not so lucky just like today wherein I got home and found out that the small LV bag(obviously a fake for $ 12) strap’s unglue itself. I then called if I can exchange it for another item. The clerk answered that they don’t accept returns or exchanges for bags, only electronics and clothing. I wonder where’s the logic of that. Well, lesson learned, next time I come, be sure to perused the items thoroughly.
