The food is good and the service is great! Shout out to Emily for telling me I left something there and helping me get it back. Very kind of her to do considering I only ordered a $ 5 chicken bowl for lunch.

They say only people who complain write reviews on Unilocal.Well, I am doing just that. I created a Unilocal account just to write a shitty review about this place. I ordered the Korean Beef and Garlic noodles bowl, because I was feeling a bit adventurous. Now, the only adventure I will have will surely involve a toilet, since I am sure to have some sort of food poisoning. The meat was questionably room temperature, and the noodles weren’t even warm. I should have known better when their own employee was eating Yoshinoya. Oh well, you live and you learn.

They need extra help with they’re chefs of something. I understand that it gets busy but honestly most people come in for lunch and end up taking an unplanned extended lunch because they are slow. Can’t really complain about the food though. So if you plan on coming for lunch. Order 15 min before you even clock out.

Food is good, but my gosh they are SLOW. Tables are always sticky(I’ve never seen them wiping them down), and it doesn’t appear that they sweep the floor very much. Not much rice in the bowl(mostly noodles), and it was overcooked and clumpy. Too bad as they probably have the tastiest chicken teri with a slightly garlicky flavor.

The food quality has really gone down hill over the last few years. I used to come here and haven’t been in about 3 or 4 years and just tried it again. Unfortunately, the quality of food is really disappointing. The chicken is dry and the stir fry noodles are plain, cold, and flavorless. The white rice is good and the teriyaki sauce is pretty good-at least that sauce hasn’t changed… But, they don’t give you enough to cover the chicken and make up for how dry it is. Their excuse for parking is enough to give you an anxiety attack. Good luck.

This is a great fast food restaurant. I have tried the chicken and the spicy pork, both were outstanding. Lots of great sides to pick from. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely eat here again.

While the food here is decent, the parking and the time it takes to get your food are abysmal. For a simple chicken bowl I waited 25 minutes during lunchtime. After getting my food, I had to play some sort of reverse Tetris with my car to get out of the parking lot.

Fairly priced, fairly average food. Coming from Hawaii, I was excited to try what seemed like a quick Japanese take-out place. However, it ended up being just a «sort of» Japanese Panda Express. You pick a main«bowl»(chicken, beef, etc) and two starch sides. I ended up getting the chicken bowl, and paid for extra meat. Portion size was reasonable for $ 10. The chicken was okay, but their Kim Chee was pretty good. Even though I live 1 min away, I probably won’t be coming back unless my legs hurt and I don’t want to walk far for food. There are a lot of other options nearby for the same price range.

So happy to give these guys 1 star. Over 20 minutes to make a chicken bowl with only 2 other people in the whole restaurant. If I wanted to waste 20 minutes of my precious lunch hour waiting for food, i would do this at a real sit down restaurant, not a shitty fast food hole in the wall.

Great food last Thursday by a new employee. Very friendly. I always get the Chinese chicken salad. Very good. I forgot her name but she was awesome

i came on a wednesday for the $ 5 chicken bowl — meat is tender and love the char from the grill, the slaw is delicious. kind of like a mellow kim chi. it was convenient that they have parking in the back but i didn’t like that it was difficult to wait for to go food(maybe it’d be better if they had those vibrating call things so people can wait outside instead?) and, more importantly, that the wait was pretty long. I expected to grab my food and eat real fast before a meeting but ended up having to eat after my meeting since I waited easily 10 minutes for my bowl. of note it costs significantly more for the beef. since it was my first time there i initially asked for half chicken, half beef and was rung up at $ 10.90! when i asked for chicken only it was $ 5.45 after tax. what a difference

This place is close to the office, so first off… convenient. On Wednesdays they offer a $ 5 chicken bowl. It’s the best deal in town! Their Chinese chicken salad is really good!

Only customer in here, Saturday 6:30pm. Took over 25 minutes for a chicken bowl and a beef bowl. Please just close down, let another restaurant open up at this prime location. Food was mediocre at best, but gave us both stomach aches

best teriyaki since I’ve moved here from Seattle. I got the chicken bowl with white rice and slaw which was $ 5.95. it was the perfect match, the slaw had slight spice. yum yum. Chicken was charbroiled so of course that was awesome!

Going back here the second or third time isn’t as great as the first. I don’t know why but this place just doesn’t taste as great anymore. Should also be careful because I read a report online that this Teri and yaki had to close because of bug infestations or something. After reading that, I stopped coming here. Even if the location is so close to my office building I don’t think I will eat here anymore. As for the food part, I had ordered their tofu bowl the last time I came here. The tofu they use is super firm tofu so they can grill it. It was dry and tasted like nothing. Very unappetizing and looked really bad. I just didn’t like it. I thought it tasted disgusting and they should just take it off the menu. I know Teri and yaki is trying to make their food healthier choice for people but I just don’t like it. If I wanted healthy food I would rather go to panera or something. Overall, I won’t be coming back here.

Went there earlier this week with a group of friends and didn’t have a very good experience. There was only one cashier open and you could tell she was overwhelmed at the sight of 8 of us walking through the door during lunch time. The employee bringing out the food didn’t seem to care what he was handing out because at one point I asked him what he was bringing(in an attempt to help him) and he said, «dark chicken» One of my friends inquired if that was the all white meat bowl and he says, «yes, here.» This was clearly wrong. One person in our group waited almost 40 minutes for a chicken bowl and I had to ask twice for my side veggies. The food was good but the service was bad and very slow.

So my girlfriend stops by here tonight to pick up dinner. She arrives at 8:30…thirty min before closing. She orders Spicy Soup for me… well apparently they’re out and won’t make any. So she calls me(I’m driving to her place) and I said ok, get the Sesame Chicken Salad. The guy begins to tell her about being out of the glass noodles and before he could finish telling her what other things they’re out of, she says fine and walks out. Clearly they are not interested in keeping better relations with customers and their customer service skills suck more then a Dyson. Have to rate using stars, and I have to give at least one, but they don’t deserve it.

I did not have a good experience for the following reasons: 1) Ordered white meat, got dark meat(two bowls). 2) The food arrived in 2 minutes — there’s no way it was freshly prepared. 3) The cabbage in the bowl was cold. This made the chicken and rice cold, too. Who wants a cold, wrong, chicken bowl? Not me. The sauce was tasty, though.

The girl in the register needs to be trained again. Her service was baffling. It’s my first time here and I asked her how the ordering worked here. Her response, «you pick whatever.» I asked«how many sides do I get to pick? «her response«what ever» asking another time just to be sure, «I can pick as many sides I want? «her response was a nod. I ended up ordering an $ 11.00 bowl once I paid I stood staring at the menu to reread how it could be so expensive. After I noticed sides were not included I asked her to change my order. She marked my receipt and didn’t hand it back, then walked away. I’m jaw dropped. I used to work a register and was a waitress throughout college. What in the world kind of responses are those that she gave me?! I will not return. I’d prefer going anywhere else.

This location of Teri & Yaki was probably my 9th errand on a very busy Saturday. The last thing I had energy for was making dinner. Good thing this Teri & Yaki was on my way home. It’s probably ¼ the size of the other location on Arroyo, but the menu is the same and in some ways I almost prefer this location. There is so much personality in the decoration of the small store, and the store is super clean. I got my usual single chicken with spinach, and it tasted great. The parking is a tad hard to find, and you definitely can’t park on Lake, so remember to make that right hand turn early, or just park at Norms and hope no one screams at you/tows your car. Four stars for reliable, healthy take-out! Would be great if they were open on Sundays, tho.
