Excellent tamales! I usually prefer homemade tamales from friends and family but these are even better (and easier to get). I’ve also tried many from the old ladies standing in parking lots with a cooler full of tamales. While I like the idea, I generally feel ripped off with tamales that are all masa, less than a dozen per bundle, overpriced, or just not very good. Not here… At Tamale House they are delicious, well made and inexpensive. The store front doesn’t look like much but it’s convenient, right across the street from the Strawberry Park baseball fields, and definitely worth stopping for.

Breakfast tacos are excellent. I’ve ordered tamales on several occasions. They were also very very good. If you call in your order, it will be ready when you arrive. Make sure you try the spicy green salsa. Yum!
