Plenty of activities and a very large park. I enjoy it. Has big play areas for the kids and adults. You sometimes have to watch out for some not so friendly people there, but I guess you get that with every big park. lol

Strawberry Park is one of those cool Houston parks that combines so many things into one area, and does it well! First off it’s pretty huge. I think the web site says 50 acres. I can sure believe it! Activities for all! Including: + Adult swimming pool and a kiddy pool, + Lighted ball fields + Multiple Tennis courts + Full-size basketball court, + Micro-centers and workout stations + Multiple picnic areas and barbecue pits + A one mile lighted walking/jogging trail, + Sand volleyball courts with three decks in volleyball court area, + Park benches + Playgrounds with swings, + A large pavilion with two stages you can rent, + A recreation facility with lots of indoor space and activities. + A least two restroom facilities, + Water fountain and war memorial, + Plus they may not mention it, but for old timers like me who can remember there is an area for flying gas powered control line model airplanes. It’s also a good place to fly your modern RC drones and run your RC cars. Located at the Northwest corner of the park near Lafferty Rd and Parkside Dr next to the wooden park sign. You can see the worn ring of grass area on this Google Maps view. There are multiple parking lots and plenty of street parking, Just an awesomely wonderful park for anything you want to do! 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
