Spencer Cleaners

We had been using Spencer Cleaners for a couple of years. There would be the occasional oops where the service did not meet expectations, but those were worked thru.
Last week’s pick up included a shirt that had four spots that were not there when we dropped it off. We returned it to have the problem rectified. We also dropped a couple of other shirts.
When we returned to pickup, the first shirt was in exactly the same condition it was when we dropped it off the 2^nd time. One of the other shirts was returned to us with a stain that did not exist when we dropped it off.
The counter person was not interested in taking the necessary steps to mitigate the issues. Looks like we will be looking for a new cleaner.

I’ve had different degrees of service here. For alterations, such as moving buttons, the work has not been of the greatest quality. Getting shirts and pants dry cleaned here is a pretty good deal. There was one instance where I needed to bring the shirt back to be cleaned again. The shirt came out great the second time around. I learned that if you let them know where you might have tough stains, they will mark it and direct more attention there. I recently had a designer shirt with a stained collar and brought it in. They marked it and when I picked it up, the shirt was stainless!
