Don’t go here — I went here using a ½ price voucher, & still felt ripped off! The woman who answered the phone barely spoke English & said «Wrong number» when I tried to make a reservation, and that should have tipped me off that something was wrong with this «Spa». While the rooms were clean enough, they were not very appealing & were very small with no sound-​proofing. No sign of anything but foot & body massages available, no showers or hot tub, & no restroom within view. I had a body massage & the masseuse was okay, but she left the room 3 different times without a word to me, & I could hear her talking with another staff member down the hall. She left the door open too, with me on the table undressed (thank God I was covered with a sheet!). Very inappropriate! Save your $$ & go somewhere better!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst experience ever. A friend gave both my husband and I gift certificates for a 1-​hour facial and a 1-​hour massage. I booked the appointments a week in advance. I received a call the night prior to our appointment letting me know the esthetician is sick and can’t come in. I said fine, but still want the massages. My husband and I rushed home from work to our appointment. When we arrived, the closed sign was up, door was locked, and lights off. I called the guy who called me the night prior to ask him what was going on. He said he would call the spa and find out. No apology. We waited for 20 minutes. Still no call back. We decided to leave and I called him back just to let him know not to bother as a courtesy. I got his voicemail and left a message. Still no call back. Still no apology.

I just wanted to let you know that this place is a mess. I DO NOT recommend it. I bought an Amazon deal last Fri and went in the afternoon to relax after traveling for a few weeks.
First off, the facility smelled like urine. The woman waiting for me could barely speak and did not give a great relaxing massage. I was tense the entire time due to her inability to massage and also due to the fact that she kept moving the sheet and placing it inappropriately. There was a very bright lamp on inside the room and loud french and spanish music playing right outside the door. I will never go to this place again.

I mean, it’s okay to have the fan on. but customers are here, and outside was 120 degree burning high. Why can’t you just turn on the A/​C to let the customer at least feel more comfortable to stay in a ghetto place? ok, let’s talk about the massage part, i know it’s hot and i know you have a long day. but i paid full amount for this massage, should you give me a full service back to me? that Ms. M lady just like standing there and put some oil on your skin, and swiping it with her finger tips without any pressure and any attention. i will never ever come back to this place … and i will tell all my friends not to do so. if u still decide to go, then good luck!

Facials by Deanna are amazing!!! She always fixes mine & my husbands skin! She’s always keeping up with all the new cool tools. My face is flawless because of her! So many people tell me I have GREAT skin; I have Deanna to thank for that!
For massages, I LOVE Johnny! Anytime I have pain, he makes it go away. & he listens to my request of pressure. Love going for just a relaxing massage to wash away all my stress.

Nice little day spa that offers facials, and massage. I happened to see their sign out front, and to my surprise I did not have to wait for a great massage. I don’t remember her therapists name, but she was young, cute and very well trained. I am a construction worker, and have lots of issues, she was able to take care of them, and with a great attitude. I am now a regular.

I Love these therapists. They give true massages — not just some touchy feely Burke Williams type of fake massage. they get in deep and find all of the probelmed areas. Not for one who is looking for skin rub — or the timid — they are professionals finding and working out any tightness or kinks you may have. if the sheet flies away, so what — you aren’t the first body they have touched/​seen. if they need hot stones to get a kink out — you will be better for it!
they have 2 locations — one is on 150 n hill ave. the best massage ever. Lana, Valarie, Myrna and Myra and of course Johnny is the absolute BEST! They are all so very sweet — and yes the place is very small and could use a make over — but as my eyes are closed most of the time — and with these prices cant complain!

won’t go back. the deep tissue i got was only deep tissue for about 15 minutes of the time. i asked the therapist to focus on certain areas, but she didn’t listen. she spent part of the hour wiping the massage oils off my body with a hot towel. not sure she even did a full hour (may have shorted me by about 10 minutes). her hands were rough, which made the experience even worse. i’ve been to several massage places/​spas; this is a no-​go, sorry.

Because of the few rave reviews that came before this review, I have to begin by saying that perhaps I just drew the short straw.
The therapist did ask me regularly if the pressure was OK– which I have to admit, was. But that’s where the good stuff ends.
Let me get right to it:
The masseuse constantly bumped into and dropped stuff all throughout the hour, causing loud and abrupt noises. Not so serene.
I am by no means a prude– I get massages regularly and often request male therapists. However, there is a certain amount of discreetness that is always present and assumed. This guy seemed perfectly well-intentioned…just a little too clumsy with the sheet. Let’s just say I felt too many «drafts» where I shouldn’t be feeling drafts!
I didn’t order hot stones and I have nothing against them. But finding out my therapist has decided to use them by the sudden jolt of them being flung upon my back was super odd and not relaxing in the least. Perhaps there should be some sort of «heads up»??

It wasn’t *horrible*. It just wasn’t what it was supposed to be. The guy needs a little more finesse & practice. Unfortunately, he’s gonna have to practice on someone else!

Recently broken up, got food poisoning, feeling closer to death than ever, and reeling like a poorly cast fishing line form all the toxins my body was trying to get out, last night I stumbled out of work into the pasadena streets like a real raggamuffin. The massage company was all booked up, and I couldn’t find the place I was looking for, when I happened upon Serenity Day Spa, a cute, albeit teensy and unassuming beacon of light on Green Street. Valerie, the sweetest, warmest woman, gave me a great massage, and told me everything was going to be okay. Her touch is great, her Argentine heart is gold. Thank you. Plus, they took me as a walk-​in. Bless you Valerie and Serenity Day Spa.

I bought my stepmom a spa package here on Jan 1, while my dad and I attended the Rose Bowl. The staff were really accommodating, considering it’s a VERY busy day for Pasadena.
She had a 1-​hr swedish massage and a 1-​hr foot massage/​scrub (which included a wash in white chocolate!) Combined, it only cost $ 75!
Though the place is a bit small and dingy, the staff is friendly and skilled.
