Finally found a place near me where the crabs are reasonably priced and deliciously heavy, fresh, and meaty. Only problem is they only have crabs during the summer.

The crabs are good when you can get them but they screw around customers too much to do so. you’re supposed to either live on their Facebook page, sit around and wait on their trucks to come in or buy them for breakfast(Sundays). today I kept waiting on their Facebook page for an hour and a half drive down immediately when they announce they have crabs only to be told they sold out. meanwhile one of their buddies walks out with three bushels. I guess I was supposed to believe the guy threw a crab feast and hoped he could get crabs.

First time customer. Arrived with«marching orders» to purchase a «sampler» of Seamarket world-renowned«Maryland Crabs». Upon entering I met the gracious and kind staff who helped me navigate through the choices. After a few minutes I decided to go wth a dozen X-large jumbo. However, the staff informed of their special for two dozen X-large with only a few dollars difference. Being one that would not pass up a good deal… I agreed. Back at the ranch, I eagerly opened the box and was amazed at the size of the crabs… X-large to say the least. Now for the litmus test. As I meticulously openedup the crab I was pleasantly surprised to see how meaty and fresh it was and… when I took a bite of it… it was absolutely delicious! Verdict simply«Awesome». Worth the drive and will be back today for a bushel or two more to share with the rest of the gang !! Thanks Seamarket your reputaion precede you!

Not cheap, but worth the price! Good old fashioned Mom & Pop. The place is a dump, the crabs were fantastic! Bought 1 dozen regular and 1 dozen large/jumbo mixed. Next time won’t waste the money on the mix. The regulars were just as heavy. I was very pleased! I will return!

Originally, my coworker recommended SeaMarket back in early July, so I made the trip from Baltimore City to check it out(it’s always nice to try a new place!). I have been back several times, always to be quickly greeted by courteous staff and a clean storefront(I have NEVER experienced a pungent seafood smell here, a typical indication of poor seafood handling). The crabs are sweet, heavy, and steamed/seasoned perfectly. They work hard at SeaMarket to bring their clientele the best quality possible. A nice perk is that they offer up-to-the-minute Facebook postings of crab availability(bring cash if you want the best deal!). I could not be happier having stumbled upon this great place. Have recommended several others to stop by, and they are hooked as well!

Seamarket has gotten too big for their britches. Good seafood means nothing when their people act like they are doing you a favor. Also they routinely promise specials that never materialize. I go elsewhere now, and don’t miss much about this place.

A great place to get crabs. They are much cheaper than a lot of the other places around and service is generally quick. I usually go for the big boys(XL-Jumbo) when they have them and they charge $ 50-$ 60 a dozen for them usually. After about 6 or 7, I was completely stuffed from all the meat. They also use JO seasoning, which I really like. I can’t really refute the 6⁄22 review someone else left, but this crab season started late and, on 5⁄6(the date of the other review), crabs were light and molting, so they wouldn’t have been that good early in the season. July is when to get them. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that one time when I got home, they weren’t as hot as they should’ve been and obviously had been sitting for about 30 – 40 minutes before I got to take them home. But out of the dozen or so times I’ve gotten crabs here, that was the only time I’ve had an issue.

Run, don’t walk from this place. The worst crabs in Maryland. Bar none!!! Light, tasteless, and they smell. Roadside stands serve better crabs.

We get steamed seafood from SeaMarket every year and love it! They catch local crabs and sell for fair prices. Be sure to pay with cash for the best price.

Fantastic crabs for a great price — We had them for my son’s first birthday and I haven’t stopped craving them since!

We have been coming here for a while, sometimes for saltwater fish, sometimes for cooked seafood. The last time we were here we got a half a buschel of steamed crabs and they were supposed to be number ones, they were so light and SMALL. We measured one at 5 and 3/8ths… pathetic.
