They started off great but now the kolaches are mostly bread. Barely any filling in them. And the prices were jacked up. So higher prices and less food. No thanks!

I get the glazed donuts, donut holes and kolaches here. The food is pretty good and I have no complaints about that. I do not like how the employees are pushy with trying to sell their food. Every time I order something they ask if I want more than I asked for. For example if I order 6 kolaches it never fails that they suggest that I buy 12 instead. Its very frustrating and I often walk out of there agitated. The only reason why i return is i live 1 min away and its close.

There are not a lot of good kolaches around this particular part of town, but these guys do them right. If you like a softer more gentle sausage in your kolaches they feature Chappell Hill sausages. If you prefer something more firm with a bit of snap to it they have Hill Country sausages. They also do a very good boudin kolache, although be warned: the spicy boudin kolaches are VERY spicy. Stick to the mild if you don’t like that sort of pain. They also have some croissant-based options that are quite tasty. The sausage-egg-cheese croissants are delightful, with the eggs being cooked just right so that they aren’t runny but neither are they rubbery. The kolache-type croissants(sausage or ham) are also quite good, with a nicely delicate outer crust. The only thing I’ve ever had from here that wasn’t great are the potato buns. Mashed potatoes and cheese wrapped in bread didn’t really work for me. But it was interesting to try.

I’m a regular here! The staff here is great and they make it personal. Donuts are great and the kolache’s are even better. They’ve moved locations but they haven’t skipped a beat. One of the best donut places here in Pasadena. Never been here? Grab a glazed donut and it’ll melt in your mouth.
