This is the class I was looking for! A class that incorporates ballet/modern Jazz dance with a great technique and amazing work out. Excellent choice of music, fun choreography, Bonnie has the talent to make her class very inviting and accessible to everyone. I highly recommend it!

I have been to several other classes and I can honestly say that Bonnie’s class is a great one. Her routines are well done, it is a mix of dance, stretch, yoga and breathing, so complete! I had a knee problem and in the past year all these exercises fixed the problem, no more pain. Bonnie is extremely nice and compassionate. While she really makes you work hard, she also gives you the confidence that you can be the best that you can. No intimidation here, just regular people who have a great time while working hard on their physical and mental health. This class is a package, a true blessing. Come and try it…

This is my absolute favorite way to get a great work out! I’ve always looked for a class that incorporated dance. Cardio Barre/Pop Physique style classes were sorta ok because it was set to music with, but became boring after awhile. I didn’t feel comfortable in traditional dance studios, as I am a forty something mom, that took dance as a kid, and the 20 something professional dancer community was not a place I fit into. Bonnie’s class was a dream come true, awesome music, an amazing workout that never grows old with stretching, strength training, and dancing!!! My favorite part is the choreographer portion of the class, where Bonnie teaches a combination. I watch Bonnie, and she is such a beautiful dancer, makes everything look so cool, and of course I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I look like one of those inflatable dancers in front of the taxes places, and that’s ok! I get a great workout, and the best part is that Bonnie has created an amazing community of people from different ages and abilities — we all have a great time!

Bonnie is the best! Her power dance class is not only an amazing workout, but also really fun and cathartic. You will love her choreography. I used to dance in high school, but most other attendees have had no previous dance training. All levels are welcome, which is great. It’s totally a non-judgmental, inviting atmosphere. Come dance with us!

This is a really fun exercise/dance class held Monday evenings at 6:00 at Club Sportif in Pasadena, the teacher Bonnie also holds it at a few other locations around Pasadena and Eagle Rock. I heard about it on a neighborhood message board and the description sounded so interesting — stretching and aerobic movement, with the last half hour of the class devoted to learning a choreographed dance sequence. I loved my first class and I’ve been going back regularly, I actually look forward to «exercising»! The first hour is a great workout combining standing and mat work, mostly aerobic stretching and twisting and reaching and lunging, that sort of stuff, along with cool music. After you’re all warmed up you learn(step by step) a short dance piece that Bonnie changes up every few weeks. I hadn’t danced since I was in high school but i didn’t find that part too advanced or overwhelming at all, there are students of all ages and experience levels and we’re all just there to have fun and exercise and learn something new! Bonnie is a great teacher with positive energy and a cool modern dance style, and she’s very patient in case you are not super experienced with the dance terminology(like me!). The space(Club Sportif) is a beautiful old industrial building that you will wish was your own loft. Bonnie offers a class card that’s a great bargain, but individual classes are only $ 12 anyway, you kind of can’t go wrong to check out this class!
