This is probably one of the best nail salons I’ve been to and I’ve been to many nail salons. Small, spa like, clean and extremely sanitary. Returning customers have their own box of nail filer, buffer and instruments are always autoclaved between uses. Technicians are very attentive, especially Cami. Prices are reasonable. I’ve never been disappointed at Perfection Nails compared to other nail salons where I left feeling I could have done a much better job at home.

I absolutely adore this place. I came here as it came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. The staff here are super friendly, and extremely efficient. They accept walk-ins and appointments, but appointments are strongly recommended, as they tend to get really busy fast(as they’re a smaller establishment. I came in to get a gel manicure, and found that their prices were exceptional.(Example: I’ve gone to another nail salon in Severna Park to get a gel mani, and normally spend $ 55 for JUST that service. Here at perfection nails, it only cost me $ 30!) I recommend Cami(the nail technician) as she was the one I have had my experience with. She’s very nice, and very attentive. The environment was clean and quaint(in a good way). Don’t be scared off by its outward appearance either(it looks like a small residence/house from the outside)! This is definitely the best place in Severna Park for your nail service needs! I plan on coming back for a pedicure next time too! (Also, if you plan on coming with your girlfriends for a mani-pedi-palooza, be sure to call in advance. There are only about 3 – 4 nail stations.)

This business used to be located in the shopping center across from Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Station. They’ve moved in to a house north of their old location on the other side of Ritchie Highway. I would not recommend this business unless you enjoy paying to much for awful quality. I don’t even know where to start! We made reservations for our small group in advance. Despite knowing how many people were coming that day they still seemed to double book as other people with appointments trickled in. The place is fairly new and topically looks clean, however the practices of this salon are completely unsanitary. All of the members of my group got pedicures. I watched in horror as the staff pulled out a CHEESEGRATER(that’s right! intended for cheese, not human skin!) to scrape my mother’s dead skin then without sanitizing it begin scraping my feet. Now I know my mother’s feet are clean but I don’t know who’s feet that kitchen utensil touched before her! After the soak and scrubs they place a hot towel over your legs which could be nice if the thing wasn’t boiling hot!(Probably the only clean thing in the entire building!) I got a minor burn over the area the towel was placed. In hindsight we should have left then but instead we moved over to get manicures. My party and I were left waiting several times as the employees would hop between working on us and other clients. I decided to get acrylics. If your looking for a salon that uses the quality acrylic materials this is not the place for you! The first big red flag was when the employee pulled out the dremel tool. I quickly asked her to do it with a nail file, which is the correct way to create a surface for acrylics, but she refused and went ahead drilling implying the whole time that I was overreacting! She then proceeded to mix the powder and solution to create the acrylic nail. Its obvious to me that they are using MMA instead of EMA to cut costs. After all the trauma I put my nails through I was still hoping to get a design. What I got was less artistic than the paintings those elephants with paintbrushes make! To top off my ugly nail design, i found fabric fibers in side of the acrylics when i got home! Just awful! I will never go back and neither should anyone else! I will count myself lucky if I don’t develop a nail fungus.
