I found this rink when I went online back in April of 2015. As a former skate guard and someone who competed in Roller Skating«Figures» from a rink in Pa. I hadn’t been on skates in over 20yrs. So I was very interested in checking Pasadena Roller rink out. I was pleasantly happy, when I was greeted by the young lady at the window who took my money how friendly she was to me. The smile on her face, told me I had made the right choice in coming there. As I went thru the door into the rink, I felt like I was home again. All the people that work there are So nice! Since then I have been going Monday’s(which is half price night) and Wednesday(which is 8.00 for a family of 5) you can’t beat the price! So come on down, bring your family and enjoy a night out together! Where else can you go and spend quality time with your children and have fun and not have to pay a lot. The best part for me is giving back by helping those who don’t know how to skate or want to learn new things. Skating to me is fun and enjoyable and it will be for you too! Mr. Jim

Needs major updating. Has looked the same since the eighties. The drop ceiling is dirty looking and would be neat if it was painted black.

This place is okay, but not the best rink I’ve seen; improvement in rules/management could be beneficial. Older(of course), family-friendly music(not top-40), plastic skates that hurt your ankles, you CANNOT wear your own skates if they have black toe stops on them — even if you don’t use them and/or could prove they won’t scuff the floor. You get a free rental if you bring your own, but as stated, the rentals are very old, plastic-boot skates. The floor is the star of the show — very nice, lacquered wood; I can understand why they want to do everything to keep it in good condition. The refs are a little overly-picky. No backwards skating unless it’s «couple skating»? What? Overall, an okay experience, but the inability to wear my own skates and the strict skating rules will keep me from going very often.

As strange as it might be to some, that a roller skating area is still open, profitable, and keeping a constant audience for over 20+ years is pretty impressive. Family friendly sacking rink, in a run down building. As unfortunate as that may sound the place isn’t too bad. Though it does look like the building has seen better days, and their equipment is the same way. Pricing isn’t too expensive, and is less than $ 10 a person. They offer many lockers, an arcade, and food, but I wouldn’t waste your time eating there. Parties and event pricing are offered, totally is a great place for kids. The local police roam and sit in the parking lots on the weekends so the spot is safe. It’s just the lack of detail put into the interior, the rental gear, just makes the place seem a little run down and in need of some major updates. 2 stars.

Nothing has changed here in decades. Literally, it hasn’t been updated or cleaned. Owners are sweet and it is a local tradition. Best to bring your own skates but make sure the brakes are not black or they will not allow them to be used. Theirs are ancient and not disinfected as far as I could tell. Restrooms are nasty, sound system sucks. It is a crapshoot if you get a great referee or the terror that loves to blow that damn whistle at every four year old. All that aside, it is well policed, it’s cheap, and it is still good fun for the kids. There is far worse that they could be doing. Bring your own skates and there is a rink. What else does one really need???
