I was searching for clapboard to replace on my 1921 duplex. I emailed a couple of Westside specialty lumber stores and never got the courtesy of a reply. This place came up while I was searching Unilocal and I gave them a call. Pedro coukd not have been nicer. He went to look for what I was searching for and quoted a price over the phone that was reasonable. I drove out and it’s a great old fashioned lumber yard. Pedro had the stock and he trimmed off some split ends and helped me liar it into my car. He also gave me an even better price! I love this place but fair warning. If you are a Home Depot/lowe’s fan this is not the place for you.

What a gem! A local business staffed by local people who know their business and care about their customers!
I had driven all over town looking for the fencing material I wanted. I had no luck and no interest in my project from the other places. I decided to stop here as it was close to home.
They were friendly and helpful. The located the stuff I wanted and even delivered it to my house. These are new owners, some long time employees, of a Pasadena ]business starred in 1907. They deserve all the support possible!

Great local company that has far better prices than other local lumber yards… still not a competitor for the big box stores probably, but I suspect they may work with you on bigger orders. Support Local Businesses and buy lumber here!
I bought a piece of specialty trim that only they had in stock (as found by the company’s list of authorized retailers). It came in 16ft lengths but he was willing to sell me 8ft at the same price per foot which is awesome! And the price was actually much cheaper than the next closest authorized dealer (Ganahl).

I wanted help with a small building project and was looking for a smaller lumber yard; didn’t want to go big box because I needed some help and attention. I looked on Unilocal and found a good review at this address but it was several years old. I drove over because it was convenient and found a large property with six different businesses. The lumber store sales person, Rafael, was super helpful and very honest. He walked me thru my project design, gave me the pros and cons of what I had planned, offered an alternative way to proceed, and was super respectful. He was cooperative with my timing and thru in some extras to be helpful. I highly recommend this lumber store. Other customers also were helpful and happy and had good things to say.
