Olympus Towing

My car died in a parking lot in Pasadena. I Unilocaled the closest Tow companies and called a few. Most said they had a trucks would take 45 mins to a hour to get to me. I called Olympus and they said they would get to me in 20 mins. So I started the process and gave them my information. They said they needed a credit car on file to service me. I asked specifically for a flatbed and they asked why. I told them I had a lowered car. They told me that’s okay and that the fee would be $ 55 and $ 49. I asked them why $ 55 and $ 49 and if they could clarify the minimum cost. They said $ 55 plus miles. So I thought okay cool send the truck. So I gave them my card to find out afterward that if I cancelled service they would charge me for cancelling. Shady not to tell me upfront.
They promised the driver would call me in 2 mins. That was kind of unrealistic I figured it would really take 5 – 10 mins and I waited. After 30 mins I did not receive a call. I called back and they apologized and promised the driver would call me in 5 – 10 mins. He called me after 20 mins and told me he was on his way and would be here in 25 mins. Frustrating because I picked them because they gave me the quickest (20 mins) time. It took and hour and half for the truck to reach me.
The driver Carlos was very professional. He loaded my car and took care not to damage the bumper or anything on it. He towed me to Alhambra and unloaded my car on my driveway. While loading and unloading my car he used wood blocks to not damage my car. Afterward he sounded worried and told me he needed to talk to me. He said the company is charging me $ 225 for the tow and I should call them. He even believed the bill was unreasonable. I called and they said they were charging me $ 85 for special equipment needed to load my lowered car. WTF what special equipment? The wood blocks? I’ve had my car towed before where they used wood blocks and I wasn’t charged a special fee then. There was no mention of this fee when I told them my car was lowered earlier. The company tells me its the driver that charges me. I said that to him and he said no they are the ones that charge. The lady on the phone tells me to work it out with the driver. He gave me a discount and apologized for that crazy quote they gave me. Carlos was the only good thing about this service. I would recommend him but not the company.

I was stack on the 710. I called for towing services. Joel came very fast, he was very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them

My car was disabled at a gas station. I called them and they came out fast. Sean assisted me and checked out my car. He charged my battery and checked all the fluids as well. Fast and great service!
