I took my son to the Tiny Tikes 7 – 13 mos old class. Pros: Great teachers — very friendly, energetic and gave individual attention to each child. Clean and organized area. My son had fun. Cons: Price — this is, of course, person specific. I thought it was pricey. Structured play time was short — For the one hour class, there was structured play at the beginning and the end — 5 – 7 mins each. My son really enjoyed the structured play time that included songs and guided physical activities by the instructors. He wasn’t crawling at the time of our visit so the unstructured play time was me bringing him to various areas of the room and it seemed a little unconstructive. I felt that he wasn’t able to fully utilize what the facility had to offer. That being said I do plan to bring him back when he is able to walk to see how he’ll do.

My family just moved to the area and we have been looking for classes that my 3 year old can join. Pros Teachers are very friendly and upbeat Very clean Con As far as the structure of the class goes for the 2⁄3 year olds I don’t understand why they go back and forth between free play time and sit down time so quickly. If I were a 2⁄3 year old, I imagine I would be annoyed and frustrated by this. I mean you are asking toddlers to sit down and do a calm activity and then tell them to go play and they get all wound up, then you have them sit and be calm, then go wild, then sit, then go wild, then sit and so on and so on. My daughter was frustrated by this as well as two other kids. I just think they should divide up the time Into larger segments. Maybe let the kids have free play time for the first half of the class and then sit and do the calmer activities for the second half. Because of this we won’t be returning. But I am not saying all kids will be bothered by this and I imagine older kids would do just fine with this.

Our 1 year old daughter loves coming here for her Tiny Tykes class every week. The activities are updated, and she gets to socialize with children and learn new skills. The teachers here are great with the kids and are very interactive. If you’re wondering if this is the place for your child, you should definitely check it out!

We love love love My Gym. My 4 year old has been going for over a year and his balance and coordination have improved greatly. The teachers are caring, loving, athletic, energetic and fun, fun fun. Some of them seem like they should be on stage they are so talented and so gentle with the little ones. We also love«free play» and go twice a week. Lastly, «Parents’ Night Out» offers 4 hours where my son plays with his My Gym friends, gets great exercise, watches a movie and eats pizza while my husband and I enjoy our rare date nights. We put our son in pajamas so he’s ready for bed after those evenings. Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

My kids, 14-month and 3-year old, love this place. The teachers are great; friendly andinvolved with the kids. It’s clean and safe. We had my sons 3rd birthday party here a couple of months ago, and it was actually beyond our expectations; both the kids and the adults enjoyed it!

This place ROCKS! I would give 6 stars if possible! My son had his birthday party here and needless to say, Elliot and Ashley went above and beyond the call of duty since guests were late and my son got into a funk. I can’t these two enough, but they are all good instructors there! As members, we highly recommend MG Pasadena to all. Thanks again!

My Gym is amazing! The teachers are so upbeat and awesome, the activities they do with the kids are an endless ball of fun, and they are clean as can be. I love everything about it. We bought a Groupon for my daughter with no intention of continuing with lessons after the 5 weeks. She’s super shy and we figured it would just be a fun 5 weeks for her to play. She refused to do any of the structured activities as she dislikes being put on the spot. She had the sweetest, most amazing teacher named Ashley who was extremely patient with her. By the 4th week, she started to warm up to Miss Ashley and by the 5th week, they were inseparable! Another teacher, Miss Candy, was also so sweet and great with her that we couldn’t imagine ending these classes. So we signed up! You should see my baby girl’s face light up every week we tell her it’s time for My Gym. She talks about Ashley and Candy all the time and it’s really the cutest thing!

Great Staff. Very clean(they even clean to ball pit one by one), organized, comfortable & fun environment! Although the pics on here are nice, they don’t do it justice. I Highly recommend!

We have been going here for years with our two girls and every staff member has been amazing, the girls have always had a great time, and if it weren’t for their Parent Night’s Out I don’t think we’d ever get in a date! Thank you My Gym!!!

I moved to NorCal two years ago and still miss this place(and they moved to an awesome new location since we left). It truly is a great place for kids. I started off with my son at 6 months. And at 7 years old, my son still loves it! I’ve tried other locations and they mostly cater to much younger kids. That’s what makes this place special because they are able to grow with the kids. We visit Southern Cal and if we have time, we will do a drop in for Zumba or for Parent’s Night Out or camp! The staff is great and truly understand my son.

I was very impressed with the staff and facility at My Gym. The teachers are great with the kids and they cover a lot in just one class. At my daughter’s first class, she used the zip line, vault and uneven bars AND she’s only 3! My son also attended his first class and I was wowed by the program for babies. He also got to swing, jump on a spring board/vault, flip around a bar and even zip line(with assistance, of course)! You can definitely tell that the teachers enjoy what they do. Thank you for taking such great care of my kids!

When I started My Gym, I enjoyed it. I quickly had issues with it after a few sessions… My Gym charges a monthly fee for going to their classes, which is pulled from your card automatically. This frustrated me because I ended up paying a lot each month(I have twins, so I was paying tuition for two) even though I would have to miss class frequently due to nap schedules, sickness, appointments, etc. Even though My Gym provides makeup classes, I wasn’t able to attend very many of them because the makeup classes were at different times during the day from my regularly scheduled class… which, again, conflicted with naps. The time period during which you could use your makeup classes also expired, which is a complete rip off. Moms should be able to use their makeup classes whenever they are able. I think I would have stayed in the class if there had been a different payment system. It would be a LOT better if you paid for 6 – 8 classes upfront and then you could use those 6 – 8 credits whenever you could. That makes a lot more sense for most moms that I know. Charging my card every month for missed classes just seemed like a rip off and was the reason I ended up terminating my account. One other thing… when you decide to cancel, they tell you that you have to give one month’s notice AND you have to cancel in person. WHY? Other than to take more of your money, this makes no sense to me! I don’t see any actual reason for this policy… it doesn’t take much to cancel an account and making a mom come in person to cancel is just a way to prolong the process. Not my favorite program for kiddos in Pasadena — there are a lot of better options out there!

A mom I met in Gymboree Pasaden told me about this place. Since we quit Gymboree, I decided to give this place a try. I came with a Groupon. Elly gladly took if and explained to me about signing up officially during my 1st month, I can get another month for free. After the first class, I decided to sign up. My daughter came here since she was 16 months and since then, she has been calling to see Mymo(the gym monkey) every day. The teachers are patience and always try to get all kids involved and give attention to. We just had a birthday party last month. The mommies commented the teachers here are very patience and this place is a lot of fun, much better than Gymboree. The toys are fun. I like them not being stingy about taking the toys out to let the kids play. The makeup class is flexible. I highly recommend this place

My LO has really grown to love this place! I like the new location… Parking is so much easier. Just walk across the bridge and you are there! My LO was a little shy for the first couple classes but quickly learned how to play with others and be around larger groups. They move around the play items every week so it always seems new to my LO. All the instructors are so kind and energetic. Some of my friends have said it is a waste of $$$ and going to the park is the same, but I’ve really found it worthwhile for both the physical and social activities.

my son has been coming to MyGym for the past ten months. in the beginning he wasn’t used to being in a group of children and much less, going along with a little agneda, but he caught on over time. MyGym has done so much for him in terms of sharing space, warming up to care givers and teachers, learning to take turns… he started here at 18 months and has come a long way. the teachers here have the best attitude, are friendly and so accommodating. they all love what they do, Miss Annie and Elliot… they’re so playful and happy. it’s such a great environment for the young ones. it’s especially great for children who stay home with mom. it gives them the opportunity to socialize and wets their feet for daycare or preschool. we started MyGym by using a Groupon, but even without that special, the program here is very worth it. we did sign up for their monthly automatic payments(you get a deep discount), which makes it a great value as well. makeups are so easy to do. parents seem to consistently abide by their healthy requirement(stay home if you’re sick and schedule a make-up). the space is very clean! there are tissue, wipes and sanitizer within reach at any moment, in case you need it. your membership comes with drop-in open play opportunities too, in addition to classes. it’s a great way to exercise those gross motors and tire them out before dinner!

I bought a groupon to bring my 3 year old here. She loved it. The staff are all so nice and great with kids. I’m truly impressed by all of them. I’ve been to many places like this with one of my two kids and this was one of the nicest ones. It’s a bit too expensive for us to keep going, but if you are thinking of doing something like this… I would definitely recommend this place. I’d probably give this place 5 stars, except that it’s a bit expensive for my taste and… well… I’m kind of stingy with that 5th star.

My son loves My Gym. We have been to two Gymboree’s and are currently enrolled in one of the locations(only because it is a 3 minute drive from my house), but My Gym is so much better and more fun. My Gym has 2 teachers per class that interact with the kids versus 1 at Gymboree. The equipment has more variety than Gymboree and the class content is funner and actually gets the kids moving. My son who is currently 20 months old clearly prefers My Gym over Gymboree. He has gone to both on and off since he was 7 months old. My Gym is a 23 minute drive for me to get to, so it is a big deal since that means it takes me at least 46 minutes back and forth in the car. I wish they would open one in Arcadia/Sierra Madre/or Monrovia.

We are very happy to have My Gym in our boys’ lives. My 4 yo went for about 18 months and it was a great intro to toddler socialization and independent playing. Now his 14 mo brother is going and each week is better and better. The staff have rotated a bit but they are all great and the facilities have everything you need. If you don’t know, the classes have structure, but just enough — there is good amount of playtime mixed in so the kids don’t flip out. There are definitely alternatives to My Gym, but this has been a great find and fit for us.

If you are not careful, you will be inundated by munchkins… beware of flying houses and yellow brick roads if you catch my drift… also make sure you are aware of any lil girls name Dorthy especially if they are in rhinestone sox. Lots of crazy kid stuff to do here. They can entertain your child if they are 2 or 10. Literally they have it all: *Rope climbs *Zip lines *Trampolines *Ball Pits *jungle gyms and many other similar things. On top of all of that they have movable items and will rearrange parts of the room several times. This lets them set up games and obstacle courses of various sorts. This is pretty good stuff for all of the munchkins. They have a seating area at the front where parents can chill, chat, grub, or whatever. We were here for a hosted bday party and they had a bunch of food set up buffet style and the kids were going crazy running around crazily. There is also a water fountain in the back of the gym area for those that are thirsty. The bathroom wasn’t overly clean or dirty… Parking is a bit daunting as well. They have a few other places in this strip all asking it very busy. The end result is a parking lot that can be packed or empty on a moments notice. The street it is located on is also very busy out of the time. Since you can’t really make a left turn into it very easily, I suggest that you make right turns only.

This is a shoutout to the Saturday afternoon shift for Waddlers! I think one of the instructors was Briana but I can’t remember the other instructors name. They were so nice and friendly, in constant motion and working as hard as they could to make sure that the kids were having fun. They must have changed the floor setup about 5 times in 1 hour, switching it from an obstacle course to a series of swings to freestyle play with musical instruments. All of the kids seemed to like the bubble machine the best, though. The instructors have a great knack with kids, and the pretty low head count on Saturday meant that each child got lots of personal attention. Footwear follows a pretty good rule — kids are barefoot, adults must wear socks. I also like how they balanced the kids’ time with freestyle play vs. structured activities. The cost is about $ 20 per day, but having your kid exhausted when you get home is priceless. The economy must be doing really well because they are practically FULL on the weekdays, and who can do this during weekdays? Side note — There is an outdoor sporting goods store RIGHTNEXT to My Gym with advertisements for guns in the windows. Does anyone else find that odd?
