Laurie’s mediation services in our divorce was an extremely smooth process. What I especially liked is that she explained the difference between mediation vs each of us having our own attorney. Where my ex-​wife and myself saw the advantages of a mediation. But she was also very explicit about retaining our own attorneys for any advice during the mediation process. My wife (ex) and I both felt comfortable that she was a neutral party at all times. Her hourly rate was slightly less than the average, which made it all the better. And her «pay-​as-​you-​go» system made it affordable. We could’ve used a mediation company that did not have a legal background or education.
