La Quinta Inn & Suites Pasadena

We mistakenly made the reservation for this location and not the one closer to our families house (Pasadena North), but not realizing that until we arrived at 330am I wasn’t about to change it. The beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. The bed frame squeaked loudly by simply looking too hard at the bed. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. The sheets on one bed had yellow stains on the comforter. The bathroom seemed unfinished. There was moulding missing and the tile had paint residue all over it. Our Wi-​Fi did not work and no one could fix it for some reason. I realize some of these things are petty to complain about and truth be told we only stayed because they allowed our pets, but the whole experience was less than stellar. The elevator and hallway it was attached to felt sketchy as well. You could feel a very obvious lip where the elevator shaft ended and the hallway began. I will be going to the other La Quinta on Pasadena Fwy. Save yourself the trouble.

Looks like a new hotel. Extra large rooms and great parking. Super friendly staff. Great location with easy access to the toll road and plenty of of restaurants in the area.

Stayed here over valentines weekend, great service the staff was so helpful when I lost my iPad. The hotel looks like it was renovated recently, new furniture and new paint. We will return when we’re in the area.

Pretty much as expected. Certainly could have been cleaner especially in the bathroom, and a fresh coat of paint in the bedroom wouldn’t hurt. Overall was convenient for where we needed to be.

This was a nice and safe option for a single female to stay. I really enjoyed Sue, who ran the front desk and kept an older sisterly watch over me. She is the heart of this place, and she made me feel taken care of and safe. This La Quinta is overall nice and updated but also could use some small tlc stuff. My door let in some light but this is due to all buildings’ settling after some time. It’s expected.
This hotel is in a decent area, it’s quiet at night and well-​lit. It feels very warm and comforting as you drive up and as you step in. I like the fact that l can control my room’s temperature – a feature l look for and appreciate!

Not the best, but best you are going to to do in Pasadena. Room and property were clean, but the wifi was down most of the time.

I stay at a number of chain hotels including La Quinta, so I am familiar with what to expect at La Quinta. This hotel is not bad, but it is one of the worst La Quinta stay for me. Pro’s: The staff is great, Free Wi-​Fi, mini fridge and microwave in the room, Clean, Dog stayed for free and the rate of $ 82/​night is great. Con’s: I wish they had more electrical outlets around the room for charging phones, computers, etc. The room showed its wear and tear age. You can hear traffic noise. The breakfast bar was probably the worst of all La Quinta’s I’ve been too. Overall, not bad, not great, just okay.
