Parking is available around the park! There are a lot of jewelry booths, a few clothing, some art booths, accessories for your pooch, and a lot of organic edibles. It’s somewhat similar to Farmer’s Market(minus the produce) and Unique LA. Pieces are made by locals so prices are retail. It’s a great way to walk around and spend an afternoon in the park.

This was a great, lowkey alternative to UniqueLA(which can be quite overwhelming). It was a smaller craft fair, but still took a good hour or so to walk through properly. There was a good mix of vendors: food, jewelry, clothing, art, misc. odds and ends. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and because I arrived mid-afternoon, the crowd was dying down and I was able to chat with people. Many merchants accepted credit cards, which was helpful, and I came home with lots of goodies! PARKING: Parked at the public structure across the street. Would park there again next time, although I will warn you that it took a good 20 minutes to get out because it was so damn confusing.

Good job, folks! I was actually a vendor at the show(and honored to be accepted). The visitors and vendors alike were wonderfully smart and supportive creatives. The location is great. This show works and I expect to see it continue.

It was a nice craft fair with a lot of high quality venders but there was no food trucks and no music playing. It seemed kinda sleepy to me

I was excited when I heard(through Le Petit Elefant’s instragram) that there was going be a handcrafted goods fair in Pasadena. I am not sure if this fair was widely publicized, but i think it has some potential to be bigger if they publicize more. I came on a Sunday afternoon. The fair was located in Central Park in Pasadena(cross the street from Raymond Metro Station stop). It featured«over 200» local artisans and crafters(However, it felt less. Maybe many of the vendors left when I came). The fair came just in time for Mother’s Day and Graduation shopping. I brought many unique gifts for my friends and mother. The fair had some of my favorite artists like Le Petit Elefant. Her drawings are so cute. She also offered the opportunity to get customized drawing for $ 45. Another reason why I love these fairs is the opportunity to check out new artists and creators. I tried samples of People’s Choice Beef Jerky and fell in love. I brought five packs for a great deal. I liked the different and unique flavors People’s Choice Beef Jerky offered like Sriracha. You will not find that in the store! Talking about food, I wished some of the food vendors offered more samples because sadly I am not going to buy if I do not know if I am going to like it. I also liked BonVillain Beauty’s handcrafted soaps. The soups smell so good. They offer them in different flavors. I must say that it was very difficult to pick a few. They all smelled really good. They also come in beautiful shapes. What a great gift to give to friends and family. I agree with other Unilocal reviews that it could have been more festive. I wished that they had more workshops or announced more workshops. I did not know that they were happening. Music would be nice. As a relatively new fair, Jackalope Art Fair is off to a good start. P. S. The next Jackalope Art Fair is on November 7th and 8th in Central Park in Pasadena. Get excited, Pasadena, for another great fair. I would recommend encouraging people to Metro because parking/traffic will be awful otherwise like Metro rider get a swag or enter a drawing. Luckily, this had a ok turnout so parking was not too hard to find. I parked four blocks away. P. S.S. I loved seeing Unilocal booth there, meeting fellow Unilocalers(Yay to Unilocaling!!) and grabbing some swag.

Moving back to Pasadena after four years in NYC, I was impressed by the street fairs there. But in reality, nothing compares to events like this. First of all, it was a beautiful day and Unilocal was there with their swag. I got the reusable shopping bag because that’s how we roll in the ‘Dena. Everything was handcrafted plus there were food trucks too! Loving Central Parks from coast to coast, but there’s no place like home!

For those that love the smells of incense, sausage, candles, soaps, and old book this place is just right for you. There are so many great tents to explore. I would advise to check it out!

Great products and ample vendors to keep your attention. The few artists that were displaying their work were fantastic and there will be more to come, definitely attending the next one!

I have been to art/craft fairs before but never to one like this one! Soooo many venues with creative and talented people! All of the tents had amazing things and what a variety! There were clothes, jewelry, food, oils, soaps and more! It was a beautiful day! Everyone was friendly and it was at great location! Also as a food lover can’t forget about the amazing food trucks that were available. I also have to say that the porter potties were great to have. The best thing about them was that they included hand washing stations, which many don’t! :) I was happy to go and support my friend Melissa and her team! I would definitely love to see/go to the Jackalope Art Fair again!

Amazing craft and art fair. So many things to choose from and even more fun. I went both days, and in spite of the rain on the first day, the event was bustling with shoppers. The second day was even better with food trucks that were delicious which was a welcome addition to laying out in the park with your newly purchased goods!

I had the chance to stop by the Jackalope Arts Fair this past weekend in Pasadena. The event was larger than I expected, and the quality of the arts and crafts on sale were top notch: everything from handcrafted jewelry, clothes, crafts and artwork. I picked up some artwork that I love. I can’t wait for the next event they put on. It was definitely worth the time to check it out this time. I can’t wait to see what the next one has to offer.

Summary: If you’re looking for soap, jewelry, thank you cards, and/or succulents, then you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for anything else, well… too bad. This is my first time to this arts and crafts event in Pasadena, so take this review with a grain of salt. Pasadena’s central park, is a beautiful spacious park that hosts many things throughout the year, one of them being the«Jackalope Art Fair» where vendors set up their tents and begin selling what they’ve made. I’m not sure if this is the exclusive to the Jackalope Art fair, but there seemed to be an over abundance of 4 things, soap, jewelry, thank you cards, and/or succulents. That being said, everything at the craft fair seemed to be made of high quality ingredients and were made with love. I can’t really comment any more on this, because I didn’t buy anything and am not a connoisseur of those goods. If asked the question, how would I improve the fair, I would probably say to diversify the booths at the fair. That’s a tough thing to do, because you can’t really just tell people to start making different products. The other thing I would suggest is to have more food vendors, and to have events that people can participate in. Maybe if there were demonstrations on how to make a terrarium or how to knit a scarf, or anything to get the people involved, rather than just being a passive shopper.

The Jackalope Art fair is a fun two-day art festival in Old Town Pasadena’s Central Park. With over two hundred tents filled awesome locally produced hand crafts and artwork, it’s a great way to spend the afternoon with the whole family. Be sure to stop by the Unilocal tent and check in for some great Unilocal swag!

I love little community events that give local artists a chance to sell and showcase their work like this. We have quite a few incredibly creative and talented people around the area! Definitely make your way around to see what every vendor has to offer. Lots of beautiful handcrafted jewelry, wonderfully fragrant homemade soaps and candles(the entire park smelled lovely because of these booths!), adorable greeting cards, prints, terrariums, and other pretty little trinkets. Everybody was so sweet and personable! It felt like a farmer’s market for artisans. We got rained out this Saturday afternoon but that just gave me a chance to use my awesome Unilocal umbrella I got from the 110& Bellevue YEE earlier this year! Woo wooo: D Great event to support and get to know some of our local artists!
